Seeing each tiny shard in his skin, every small, intricate detail of the blood, gosh it hurts. Oh does it hurt. Imagine cawing for the whole entire comic saying that you don’t need a certain person and then suddenly loosing that person and then you realize

“Oh fuck maybe I did need them after all!”

He was all bark some bite for the whole story, and yes we’ve seen him become soft in a blushy way once in the story but we haven’t seen him become soft in the caring, depressing way of wanting someone to come back to save him. He’s alone. He’s got what he’s asked for. Because being an asshole was a defense mechanism and the biggest sense of pride, but now he’s weak and he does NOT like it.

I wonder if he’ll do anything more impulsive now that Jekyll’s gone :) !!!

To be honest, it would be REALLY fun to see Hyde slowly go insane without Jekyll, to see him fall slowly, slowwwly, and sllooooowly into madness.

You know how in medias sometimes, characters who miss another character make dolls for them? And use their voices to pretend like they’re there too? I feel like that’s what Hyde will do but in one of those “What would Jekyll do.. OH I KNOW! He’d say-“ and then he rambles and tries to talk like him.

…maybe he does end up in Bethlam.

Or maybe he ends up going off and on his own, like what Sage is saying in the description about children, because Sage has said that Hyde is like a child SO many times. What if after a small period of time, or nights and days and weeks Hyde starts to realize

“I can be my own person. Without him.”

But if times get tough and rough for him, he’ll always know where to go back to. Insanity.

I know deaths are quite the odd thing in the TGS universe, we haven’t seen anyone die but Rachel’s little brother in a flashback, but we’ve seen people get injured before, so I have to ask…

how possible is it for Sage to pull out the “Jekyll Will Kill Himself” card? In my opinion, it’s highly likely since they could have left the whole comic with barely any deaths to hype up the death of the main character, Jekyll, who built this story brick by brick, or at least potion by potion.

“Charlie, you’re insane for thinking this, Sage could never-“ But I seriously cannot even fathom another way for him to get out of this situation, especially now since he’s said “No, I won’t be.” either I have the teeniest turtle brain and cannot come up with something better or I’m completely right HAHA.

A hyped up death would be wild, and I think that’s what we need in the story, we’ve gotten climax after climax in this chapter alone, is it that far out to believe Sage will do it one last time and follow the canon event of “Jekyll Go Bye Bye” , or at least sneak in one more climax before the big thing? Nah.

I made my own little head canon this morning of the mindscape, BECAUSE SHE’S TRYING HER BEST OKAY not her fault Hyde keeps doing his fuck-uppery all the time, and the mindscape deserves more attention as a whole, the concept at least.

HC: I think after that whole freak-out that Hyde had during the exhibition and a little bit before it, made the mindscape be COMPLETELY wiped out from everything, all the memories, all the people, I mean we saw what happened to Mind!Lanyon DIDN’T WE????? (RIP whiteboard face Lanyon) Maybe the wipe out sent his memories, the creatures in Henry’s brain, deeeeeeeep down below, like an ocean, it sent a twilight zone spot all the way to the challenger deep zone, somewhere so far and cold that only few can survive. CUZ LIKE- HELLO??? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MINDSCAPE ERAS??? She was slayin… but then being gay and mentally ill ruined her (RELATABLE!!)

We can see that it was more like a library, as all minds are depicted as, glowing like an aura of heaven in Jekyll’s current view, and all around the areas where the shelves and clutter is, it’s dark! It’s hollow like! You can obviously see the levels, but in the newer pages of the mindscape there’s none of it, it’s all WHITE and PALE, almost like a hollowed out fishbone!

AND IF all the places and ideas were sent to a different place in his mind, a place where Jekyll might not even be able to reach-HOW can he get it back??????? Is there even a way???? Maybe getting rid of Hyde is the solution since now he’s like a cancer to Jekyll’s body. Maybe Hyde is the one who absorbed every bad thing, perhaps even everything, and killing him will be like exploding a piñata but instead of candy. ITS EVERY NIGHTMARE AND MEMORY YOU’VE EVER CONCEIVED SINCE 4 YEARS OLD
