Chishiya couldn't help but raise a curious eyebrow as he turned to look at the male beside him. He was casually settled in on the couch, a bag of his favorite kind of biscuits in hand as he swallowed down the bite he was currently munching on. Since Niragi was discharged, Chishiya did his best to keep a routine of trying to stop by when he could to make sure Niragi wasn't doing anything stupid to backtrack any healing progress he had earned with his burns. Luckily, that didn't seem to be the case, but he didn't put anything past Niragi for him to be stubborn one time too many and end up making himself need longer to heal.
Granted, as a doctor he couldn't always make time to stop by every single day, due to some shifts running longer than others and just if other events came up that he would have to take care of though he made sure to try where possible. With that time, the two had managed to grow closer even if most would've thought that unlikely, and in a way, it helped Chishiya keep the motivation of turning his life around and a reason to try to convince Niragi to do the same. Though he was just as stubborn as Chishiya was himself, so that was taking longer than he had hoped but nothing he wasn't willing to work with.
"You do, do you? I'm a bit surprised someone like you would be brave enough to say something so bold out of the blue like that. Though it's a little amusing, nonetheless." Taking another bite from the biscuit he was holding in his hand, there was a hum as he chewed as if pondering over his thoughts. At first, there was no way he was going to so easily admit if he did tend to have thoughts of the other while in bed- and occasionally at other times, but if Niragi was so brave as to verbally say something of that nature, Chishiya could oblige and give him a line to bite on at least.
"I'll bite, though. If I were to admit that I do, and other times as well, what would your reaction be then? After all, you're the one who landed on the topic, so I can't imagine it'd be anything too against the possibility but humor me. I'm well aware there's likely one of two ways for this to go, but maybe you'll surprise me, so I'm all ears for what you've got to say." Sure, Niragi could simply be creeped out by the admission, but Chishiya highly doubted that was the case if his words included 'I hope'. Even with admitting it, the ball was back into Niragi's court and if he looked at the option of Niragi feeling please by the response, there were still two common responses. The topic of being more would come up, or things would simply be awkward if Niragi felt surprised Chishiya had gone with it.
Or they could both still be too chicken to do anything, both sharing the same thoughts but neither brave enough to make the first mention of growing what was between them. He'd just have to see, pulling another biscuit from the bag and munching on it as he offered the bag over to the dark-haired male and awaited his reply.
i'm still new to AIB (i have to pick up from ep 3 bc that ep made me cry LMAO), but your chishiya is really great from the things i've read from you so far! i'm excited to see you continue to develop him and continue to bring him to life 💞

I'm really glad I'm pulling him off so far, and I definitely look forward to getting to do more with him, especially with fleshing out the parts we don't see in the series like pieces of backstory and all. He's been a lot of fun to get into the rhythm of writing, and I can't wait to see where he goes from here.

I like the new design, and the addition of new muses *cough* and that you dragged me into a/ib hell with you xD your chishiya is wonderful so far and he can only get better when you start putting more observational skills to work with the practice shows you're watching xD
It only took me a million tries to finally get it where I liked it 🤣 And listen, I'm just as glad that you followed into this hell with me because now I have an outlet for the brainrot that is nonstop. And thank you so much. I was so worried I wouldn't do him justice at first so I told myself I wasn't going to add him, but getting to write him and have a reason to focus more on his behavior and speech patterns as well as getting to write him with your Niragi who is so much in character it isn't funny, he's easily becoming one of my favorite muses to use!
I'm also glad as a result of you being dragged with me, I got to realize about Chishiya x Niragi and have someone to equally love the ship with, as well as possibly getting me into Chirisu. That one is still on the fence but I can see the chemistry so who knows.

Chishiya had been running since his shift started, one thing after another seemingly going wrong as if it all waited just for today. It wasn't anything he wasn't exactly used to, but after being away for so long due to recovery before being allowed back, it was still taking some time to fully get back into the swing of everything. Though it helped keep his mind busy now that Niragi wasn't admitted and able to give him some type of distraction.
Despite feeling like he was supposed to hate the dark-haired male he had woken up with in a shared room, he couldn't help but find a type of friendship in him. They were similar in ways and far different in others, but where was the fun if they were exactly alike? Though Chishiya would be lying if he said he wasn't going to miss being able to get under Niragi's skin albeit playfully, and he wondered if his note actually made it to him via the nurse he had to request to deliver it since he was unable to himself.
Now that he was finally able to take a breather for a moment, he finally slid the mobile device out from his pocket to clear off any miss notifications.
Two unread messages. Huh.
Eyes scanning over the screen as he read the words a few times before processing, he couldn't help but laugh a little. He'd kill him, huh? That was a bit amusing, if he was honest. What, was Niragi going to come to the hospital just to attempt it? Chishiya doubted he'd get very far in that case. Other than that, they had no clue where each other lived just yet, so it wasn't going to be that easy either. Unless Niragi had enough patience to try to do any research for information on him, in which Chishiya welcomed him to do as such if he thought he wanted to follow the threat.
Text: Oh? You'll kill me, huh?
Text: How were you planning to do that? And especially after somehow sending the threat to a wrong number. You wouldn't get far with a threat in a hospital, after all.
Text: But I suppose lucky for all of us and whoever the unsuspecting person would have been, you've got the right number. Glad to see the note made it to you.
Stay out of his way? That was amusing. Especially considering Chishiya had been minding his own business while returning from one of the latest games he had to partake in. He was exhausted, and all he really wanted to do right now was lay down and try to rest. Yet, he couldn't even do that before Niragi just had to go and say something.
"Huh. Last time I checked, you were the one who walked into the hallway and chose to bump into me. I'm just trying to get to my room. If my mind remembers correctly, your room isn't even on this floor. So therefore, one of us is out of place here." Thinking about it, he didn't really have the energy for this right now. His brain already hurt, and talking to Niragi would just make it hurt worse.
"Instead, tell you what. You go to the left, I go to the right, I go to my room and you can go on about your way and we don't have to deal with each other. My brain doesn't have the energy or the power to deal with any IQ dropping from talking with you. That sounds like a solution that works in both of our favors, correct?"

"Oh? By all means, go ahead. Just don't go burning a hole into my soul." A weak chuckle is heard as a smirk pulled at the corner of Chishiya's lips, enjoying any opportunity he had to get under the raven haired male's skin. Who could blame him after all? It was no secret Niragi thought he was a top dog, and he had made it clear long ago that being looked down on provoked him. "Though then again, if you liked what you see, you simply could have stated as such."
"No need to go eyeing me as if you were just a hungry animal staring at a piece of meat. Oh, I'm sorry. That was a bit disrespectful to the animal, now wasn't it? Then again, maybe you think if you stare long enough, you'll find a way to get me out of the way. That's what you want, after all." Sliding his hands into his pockets as he turned his back in order to walk away, his head turned to the side in order to allow a glance back to.. whatever the other male was to him. That was a question with an answer that only seemed to flip depending on the given moment.
"Wish I could say I'd hate to break it to you, but it doesn't work that way. You'll have to try a bit harder to get rid of me than just staring in hopes of an answer."
Kazutora stops Chifuyu from whatever he was doing-- And shoves a piece of chocolate into his boyfriend's mouth. It was Valentine's Day, and Chifuyu was busy with work! Would it kill him to take break?
"So, how is it..? I know it's not the best-- But I wanted to make you some."

He'd be lying if he said he had expected to be stopped in the middle of the inventory walk to make sure they had everything they would need ordered in time, but before he had time to ask Kazutora what was going on, there was chocolate in his mouth. Sure, it wasn't the best ever, but the sentiment was there nonetheless and that was enough for Chifuyu. Chewing it a bit before swallowing it, he leaned over to press a kiss to the corner of Kazutora's lips in thanks.
"A little sweeter than I expected, but overall, it's still really good. I'm impressed," He teased softly at the end, stealing a proper kiss from his boyfriend this time and wrapping an arm around him. "And thank you. That was really sweet of you."
“Okay, well, it’s official - tonight will be madness.” (Baji to Ryusei)
"Remember you did it to yourself. You got involved and refused to just let things be. You know as much as I do that Kojiro doesn't back down, so we all know there's no doubt that between you two? One of you aren't making it out of the fight. But that's one consequence anyone deals with from both of you, you don't think your actions through. You rush in, and you get cocky and think you're invincible. We have to stand by and see that regardless of what we do, you'll just counteract it. Especially someone on both sides."
Was he surprised by Baji doing this? No, not at all. But doesn't mean it made it any easier to watch as it went down. Especially when it came down to him betraying Toman just to try to get shit to settle down just to allow Chifuyu and Baji to leave the batting cages without issue, but no. Baji just had to pick a fight, although he wasn't even sure if Kojiro would let them leave without one. In fact, he was almost sure it would've happened regardless.
"I get that you think you can beat Kojiro and get him to let me come back to Toman or whatever it is that you think you'll accomplish by winning, but it won't go that way. You and I both know that. It's the same old routine. People are going to get hurt over something stupid. Just realize that what I did is for the best and let it be. We knew it'd never go without a fight anyways; this would catch up at some point."
