Lionel Marchetti & Jérome Noetinger - Paris / Genève
There are no words to describe the beauty of this new collaborative LP by top-notch French tape manipulators Lionel Marchetti & Jérome Noetinger on Πτώματα Κάτω Από Το Κρεββάτι (Corpses Underneath The Bed). Recorded live in Paris (Présences Electronique festival, 2007) and Geneva (Cave12, 2009) it features sounds entirely made, altered and distorted using two Revox B77 tape recorders as the sole instrument. Impossible tape collages, fiery improvisations and overwhelming skills by these two geniuses make up the two pieces whose dynamics will surely fuck your brains up (at least they did mine).
