"Uh...." That.. That was a really good question, actually. Against anyone, Chifuyu was always willing to have Takemichi's back. They were partners, after all, but against Baji? The first and only person that Chifuyu had come to look up to, not to mention the first to get his respect? That.. wasn't so likely, if he had to be honest.

"I'd love to say yes.. but... Sorry, Takemitchy. Can't say I would, I mean it's Baji-san, after all! You ask that as if anyone could stand a chance against him other than Mikey or Draken. I'm especially not going to try to fight him, given I know what he's capable of. That'd be asking to get my ass beat!"

Crossing his arms, he tilted his head as he paused in question. "...I don't believe it's for no reason though- So what did ya do this time?"

Thinking about it now, Koko already has the money to buy himself anything he'd want for Valentine's, and whatever mediocre gift Takemichi got for him might go completely unnoticed... but he leaves him a scented candle anyway, with a note that says: "Happy Valentine's, Koko-kun!" with a (rather ugly) little doodle of a grinning Takemichi making a v-shape with his fingers.

Koko picked up the candle, staring as his eyes look over the shape and description along with the overall appearance. "Such an ugly gift." While he wasn't much a fan of candles, he guessed he appreciated the sentiment of someone caring enough to get him something at least. Even if it was more than a bit odd. Looking over at the note closeby, his free hand picked it up and read over the words. Of course, it was that annoying idiot. He should've guessed.

But again, if he knew anything about Takemichi, it was that he at least had good intentions behind the things he did. Koko carefully set the candle and note back down, making a mental note to at least try to be kind enough to give him some thanks. And hopefully, if he was lucky, he wouldn't actually have to use the candle and could get away with lying about using it if Takemichi ever asked.

Takemichi isn't going to embarrass himself by giving Mitsuya homemade candy, so here's a chocolate bar he bought as a thank you for always looking out for him!

If Mitsuya was saying he was expecting this, he would be lying. Though the sentiment behind the action is appreciated nonetheless as he took the candy bar from Takemichi, opening it and splitting it into two pieces as evenly as he can. "Here. I appreciate that you thought of me at least to give me something, so we can share it."
