Haru was just as surprised in himself for managing to pull something so simple as a kiss off. Though, it did seem to come off pretty rough considering his lips somewhat stung from the sheer force and surprise of it all. The raven wasn’t one to take risks, but the act just seemed so right and well deserved. But Rin didn’t seem like he initially enjoyed himself, seeing the reaction of a blush and sudden irritation. Capturing his bottom lip in between his teeth, Haruka was lost on words. Should he apologize? No, why should he for showing affection towards a long time friend? He had to admit though, he thoroughly enjoyed the sight of Rin looking all flustered and confused. Sure, he would gladly take the blame for anything Rin was willing to throw in his general direction; but he had no regrets about the kiss. Why should he regret something that almost seemed like it was just meant to happen? At the command to turn his attention away from the red head, Haru couldn’t help but continue to stare - simply because of how precious and humorous Rin looked at this very moment.
“I just thought you’d enjoy it..that’s all.” Haru wasn’t a dominant person, but someone had to take the initiative, so why not him? Besides, Rin was too shy for his own good to attempt anything of the sorts.
“Wh --- Really?” He can’t help but question Haru, eyebrows raising as his expression shifts, lips upturned in a small, skeptical frown. His cheeks still feel like they’ve been set on fire, though, and his face scrunches slightly in thought, a small hum leaving him as he watches the other carefully with a somewhat intense gaze. He just doesn’t get the raven, no matter how long they’ve known each other for; no matter how hard Rin tries, but then ... He thinks he gets an oddly pleased vibe coming from the other male, and his heart skips a small beat ( which he would never, ever admit, even if he’s dying --- a joke, because he’d admit it then, probably ) that thrums throughout his veins, a trailblazing fire spreading wide within him relentlessly.
He doesn’t give any sort of affirmation to whether he had enjoyed it or not, though he also does not give any negative response. Rin is kind of at a deadlock, really, he feels like he’s at a loss --- He knows he feels embarrassment, and he’s kind of flustered, and surprised, but there’s also a kind of fluttering his heart picks up on, that he hopes does not become a habit. Still, this is a new side of Haru that he’s seeing, and a new side of himself that he’s discovering. “Did you,” he begins, before clearing his throat and averting his gaze, blush darkening on his cheeks. “Did you enjoy it? He murmurs quietly.
