What's Pen's open on her non Amazonian siblings, since ares had a crapton of kids

     She doesn’t really consider them siblings. She did not grow up with them; she did not suckle at her mother’s breast beside them like she did with her Amazon sisters. The family trees of Greek gods, demigods, and Amazons are convoluted enough the for the most part, everyone is related to someone else in some way. It’s the bonds forged through warfare that matter most to Penthesilea.

Did you and the other amazons ever keep any pets? I mean, any particular animals that you considered companions?

     “Indeed, we did. Amazons are master horsemen,” (she cringes at the name) she answered. “We are just as adept at warfare on horseback as we are on foot; even a two year old Amazon girl knows how to sit properly on her horse. Horses are the single most valuable animal to the Amazon tribe. In addition to that, we had many dogs and cats as companions, birds to sing for us, pools of beautiful fish to adore, serpents and lizards to admire…

     “To be perfectly honest with you, any animal on our island was a welcome guest in any home. We live in peace with nature, not against nature. It is one of the many things that contrast us with the race of men.”

Not the same anon, but that positive anon you got was probably Devil :)! He's the only person I can really assume would send that due to what's gone on with him since last year.

     Whoever sent it has my thanks, and I hope that things get better for Devil. They were a good writing partner and I’m looking forward to one day writing with them again.

I'm very happy to see you still kicking with a great portrayal Orrie! I've missed seeing your Penth around and I've absolutely missed writing with you! Unfortunately I'm no longer confident in reaching out to write or anything so now I'm kinda just a lurker, but it's still very nice to see your posts again and it's very refreshing.

     Aw… Thank you so much!  I wish I knew who you were so I could personalize this answer a bit more, but… My gosh, what a nice message!  I’ve only been back for a day, and I’m still getting accustomed to writing again, so it’s very nice to hear that my portrayal is still on point! 

     I hope you come back to the writing community soon and join in on the fun, but only when you’re ready. We’ll all be waiting for you.
