she was supposed to be chill about this and just enjoy her life. that's what she had been doing at least for the bigger portion of the last year and a bit. however, things never seem to go like she likes, and she ends up seeing and speaking with someone she wished to not have to see again. numerous reasons, but heartbreak is a thing and jules is petty. and upset. and she needs a distraction. or something.

that is exactly how she found herself in jaeyoon's company earlier in the day, a simple sample session, messing about with some songs and enjoy the afternoon. it was supposed to be like that.. if she had shut up for exactly 5 minutes since walking through the door. that was maybe an hour ago? an hour and a half probably and she had to go and get herself a drink, a coffee, iced americano. she comes back, a few minutes later.

"and you know what?" she continues, as if she hadn't left "he acts like nothing had happened, like everything is okay. can i talk with you? like we are best friends!" she doesn't get angry a lot, but she is on the path of bursting a vein from the stress she is causing herself.

jules and her style

honestly, i don't think she has an actual style. she dresses however she feels like at the time and gets swayed by trends a bit too much if she has to be honest. she does style herself, but its usually when she isn't supposed to have any schedules - hence why there is a lack of a signature style. she does like colours, tends to arrange her fits very monochromatic, or neutral. staple peaces are nice but she doesn't really have a lot of them. not that she cares really, she has stylists that make sure she keeps in line with haute pink's image whenever needed. you'd think that after so many years of being an idol, she would care more about having a personal or signature style but she doesn't.

alcohol free with you? the pool bar at the sora rooftop

waterbomb is always, always exciting. and what better place than manila jules thinks. it's feels like it has been a bit too long since they last did anything together as a group. sure there were some small bits and pieces last month but do they really count? it was almost like midas music had forgotten about huate piunk… she has to physically shake the thought away. so she goes to do something fun, something different than loathe in her room and hide away from everyone else that would be at the hotel. of course jules make her way to the pool rooftop, specifically to the bar. who would say no to a nice mocktail at any time of the day. definitely not jules.

so she gets into her very much company approved bikini and oversized shirt, towell and phone in hand, and she makes her way to the rooftop. like always, she hopes she see's someone she knows. someone to bother for some company for a little bit. just a bit. then she would be on her marry way. so jules almost physically deflates when no familiar faces are seen at the pool or by the bar. the thought of just heading back to her room does spring in her mind, but she pushes forward. its nearly empty to begin with, so maybe she can just get a mocktail and hide under the shade on her phone for a while. still better than the stuffy room she had been in until now.

so with a bit of a drag to her step, she makes her way to the bar and one peach mojito later, she is on one of the tanning beds. her main attention is on her phone, aimless scrolling and enjoying the silence of the near empty pool. chatter and people, coming and going, but still no one to actually bother. so she stops really looking up and focuses on whatever stupid tiktok video was playing on her phone. it's not until the need to get another drink does she leave her spot, but by that time, there is a familiar face at the bar and jules takes her opportunity.

"was starting to worry everyone had ran away from the hotel." is her opening line as she pulls a chair to sit down next to them, grin pulling on her lips "what brings you to the bar?" she asks, placing her now empty glass on the counter. to an extend jules did think people would be out and about, actually doing stuff with their free time in manila than be boring like her. then again, what did she know, people might actually want a break unlike her.

midnight with you? the gym at hotel okura manila

tw; mentions of anxiety

jules can't sleep. maybe it's because she has yet another coffee not long before bed, but maybe because she was anxious about a lot of things. waterbomb wasn't one of them, though, it had been a while since they had done anything as a group so maybe she was? it leaves a very big hole in her stomach and she needs to go and distract herself. so up she gets, pajamas quickly switched for the nearest workout clothes she sees on the floor, phone, headphones and waterbottle in hand, she decides the gym would be a great start to get some energy out. maybe it would help her sleep, she hopes, because it was getting late and she doesn't think having an extra strong coffee tomorrow would help her in any way.

so, she almost skips to the gym inside the hotel okura manila, already feeling at ease about the fact she can get some exercise in. jules is already thinking about what playlist she will be using, ideas flowing but they all fly out as soon as she opens the doors and is greeted with an awfully familiar face. she can't help but grin, practically skipping to join them on the threadmill available next to them.

"why hello there." she starts, awfully fake nonchallant she doesn't even try to hide, smile tugging on her lips as she places all her stuff in the allocated slots on the threadmill. "what brings you here at this lovely hour?" jules asks, fingers pressing the buttons of the machine, setting it to a nice steady walk. it eases her ever so slightly, seeing someone else also at the gym at this hour of the night, it feels like she isn't alone despite not knowing what is keeping the other awake. and she won't pry, she wasn't like that.

however, the questions never stop with jules, because she cant talk and talk and has too many thoughts at the same time "are you finishing up or starting?" she asks, to know, because she could just go for a run right now. or help about with the weights. anything to get some energy out of her system.

[text] Yeah I think we tried to use the shower curtain as a parachute because its tied to my backpack with some string. Dont know if anyone actually attempted it though.
