Godscobh Task #02 — Peter Pevensie’s Style
In one word, Peter’s style is classic.
Warm Weather: During the summer and the spring, when the weather outside is warm and the sun is shining overhead, Peter’s sense of style becomes as casual and relaxed as he will ever allow himself to be. With a well-defined preference for wearing khaki trousers or cargo shorts in neutral to warm tones, plain and breathable cotton henley shirts and accessorising with sunglasses and the occasional flannel on top for a pop of colour, he prioritises clothes that are suited to him in both form and function, flattering his appearance and highlighting all of his best features while simultaneously being light and easy to move around in, befitting his highly active, athletic lifestyle. Cold Weather: During the autumn and winter seasons, Peter’s sense of style becomes an echo of what it had been in the days of his youth, when he was still a Pevensie of Finchley. Raised in the environment of academia, he adopted the fashion of the men and women who surrounded him — Button-up shirts and ties often layered beneath knit vests or turtlenecks and sweaters patched with suede on the elbows, woolen dress trousers and waxed leather oxford shoes, brought together by a classic bomber jacket, a nostalgic staple of colder months in his home country. Some may call it old-fashioned, but he believes the classics are considered classic for a reason. Extra — Sheriff’s Uniform: While going about his day-to-day business, Sheriff Peter Pevensie is always ready to spring into action at a moment’s notice. As the highest authority in law enforcement in Godscobh, he believes that it is not only his responsibility to set the example after which all members of his department should follow but that he should be easily and immediately identifiable to any member of the public at all times, should they need his assistance. Adhering to the dress code that dictates his uniform means that Peter will always be found in possession of his official badge, a white Stetson Sheriff’s hat — which he chooses to leave in his patrol vehicle more often than not — a fully equipped duty belt, black tactical boots and, when the weather calls for it, a fur-lined leather jacket.
