The sun gleams off Tim Drake's hair and lights his blue eyes up until the admiration in them practically shines. Something in Dick's stomach jolts- nerves? Butterflies? He isn't certain of anything other than the sudden urge to be sick.
He's never seen someone so perfect before. Not the boys he used to sneak off with to play adult games with when circus nights were slow. Not later in any of his other girlfriends. He can't seem to stop staring at Tim.
And that's why he forces himself to brush the kid off.

"a sudden urge to be sick" mhm i'm sure. i like the idea of dick admitting to tim just how far back his attraction goes later on in their relationship, dosed on truth serum or sex pollen or just really fucking sleep deprived, and tim's just like :O by then tim is robin and dick's little brother and dick can stare at him as much as he wants💞
