Why are all the talking heads making it a point to tell us Renee Good, the woman murdered today by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, was a US citizen? Would her senseless killing have been any less horrific were she not? She was a human being, just like all the rest of us. Her legal status has nothing to do with whether or not her murder was somehow more or less justified. Because no matter how you want to spin it, it just fucking wasn't.

We have laws in place to prevent things like this from happening. What are we supposed to do when those at the highest levels of power ignore those laws and do whatever the fuck they want to, with no apparent way to hold them accountable? What do we do??

JFC, I don't know how much more of this we as a nation can take before it all falls apart. And I am so very angry. I can't even begin to figure out how to process it or where to put it. I hate it here.
