It wasn’t like fear was an uncommon emotion for Joohyun. In fact, it was a rather common thing to feel as of late. She feared many things, as known by the very person who told her those words just now: ‘It’s okay to fear.’ Knowing Seulgi, she was only talking her into doing something she wouldn’t normally be doing. Right now, they were guesting at a variety show. In the show, they were challenged to place their hands inside a box with an unknown object inside of it, feeling it with their sense of touch, and finally, guessing what it actually was. Guessing correctly would earnt heir team corresponding points, and that was why Seulgi was so adamant on making her unni do it. Competitive as she was, there were limitations to Joohyun’s fighting power. Example would be her fear of the unknown. What if there was some sort of reptile inside the box? What if she disturbed it and ended up biting her right on the hand? However, on national television, she had no choice but to do what she had to do. Besides, the production crew would take responsibility if ever the small probability of someone getting injured or bitten actually occurred.
Before letting her hand dive into the box, Joohyun flashes a glare at Seulgi. Taking a deep breath, her hand dives into the hole on top of the box, slowly reaching for whatever awaits her at the bottom till she feels something silky and cold graze her skin, causing her already huge eyes to bulge out, letting out a scream as she pulls it out. Granted, Seulgi had no say in whatever was inside the box. However, Joohyun couldn’t help but let out her rage at the younger, slapping her lightly on the arm as a sort of revenge.
