guys wait we know susie's reason for her second glance at noelle
susie's not exactly SUBTLE
Noelle gave her something and SMILED, at her. And that's been on her mind for HOW long??? But more so...
OOOH am i going to exploit this for a headcanon???? ABSOLUTELY
Noelle takes a pause here. Is she serious or is she joking? Is she envious? How long has NOELLE had a crush on SUSIE???
THIS line. HM. I'm reading WAAAAAY too into this but hear me out (IVE CONNECTED THE DOTS!!)
"Always" displays a period of time. Longer than a few weeks, maybe even a year. Yeah I know it's PUSHING it BUT
Noelle wears her heart on her sleeve, but she can never get the words out! She's tried, tried, and tried again and again, only NOW do we see it!
MISS NOELLE HOLIDAY, JUST HOW LONG HAS SHE BEEN IN YOUR MIND???? WHAT IS IT YOU HAVE FELT SO DEEPLY ABOUT???
now that you've read this and considered all of those things, no matter what little credibility the argument has
consider the headcanon that susie saved noelle when they were kids.
> It's a small moment for Susie. She forgets it, probably.
> It's a massive moment for Noelle. How Susie didn't hesitate, how coolly she left without another word, how quickly she was willing to protect someone.
> Sort of "The One Who Got Away" trope. "First Love." SOMEWHAT "Star-Crossed" except Susie will move the stars for Noelle.
It's so hot here, I left some fresh peaches in my car for an hour and came back to find cobbler.

“Is this some sort of practical joke?” Cor adjusted the collar, feeling the metal tightening into his neck. He looked extremely uncomfortable, but just the sight of Prompto made him relax a bit more. “Get this thing off of me.” He mumbled. He can’t seem to find a place to unlock it.
He was silent for a moment, watching, expression just this side of unreadable, before he reached up and plucked Cor’s hands away from the collar. It was locked in place with a small iron padlock and Prompto had the key. It was fine. Everything was fine. It wasn’t going anywhere, and if Cor got too distressed, he could end this. But they weren’t there yet. And they didn’t have to be.
“Just... give it a minute,” he said, eyes soft as his thumb rubbed reassuringly over Cor’s knuckles. The skin was tough and cracked, and Prompto was pretty sure that no matter how many more years of experience he had out here in the dark, his hands would never be as weather and battle worn as Cor’s.
And part of him liked that.
“Get used to how it feels for a bit. If you really hate it, I’ll take it off, but just... try it. For me?”
❝ The great Van Helsing, I am delighted to see that the stories are not greater than the true man, though I doubt I am first to pay you such compliment. Oh how I have admired your work since moving from my home. Your bravery is unparalleled, with almost no equal... almost. I am overjoyed to meet someone who has faced the sort of monsters that I have, seen the evils I have. Though in our world, who hasn’t borne witness to true darkness? ❞
