Toga is the type of girl that would stab you while listening to Dancing Queen.
Please, imagine Mr. Compress singing "The Music of the Night" from The Phantom of the Opera to Toga before going to sleep. In the background you have Twice acting the whole scene.
They're best dads out there. Dramatic and lovely.
Solar Eclipse | Cat & Widget
warbitwidget
The sun was being eaten alive.
He couldn’t think of any other way to describe it as the moon slowly ate a waning crescent into the searing white orb. A solar eclipse, uninterrupted and blatant in the vast sky without any power lines or buildings to obscure it. Widget had dropped to his knees in the sand a few feet from his vehicle and there he remained as the moon devoured the sun, turning it into a fat crescent that slimmed by the minute.
It was beautiful but it was also scary as anything he’d ever seen. He was crying because he wasn’t sure where the sun was going or if it’d be back. The sheer beauty of it disappearing was also overwhelming and emotional. It was scary and breathtaking and even though it made his eyes sting and burn he couldn’t look away. Her sudden presence wasn’t even enough to turn his head, hands going to the top of his head as he rocked on his knees. How in the world would they get to Valhalla if the sun was gone? His skin peppered with goosebumps.
After a while it register that she was here and addressing him. He turned plaintive, accusing slates on her. “Why did you do this?” Because clearly it was her fault. The sun had never done this before. And here she was.
The eclipse was nothing new to Catriona. She had seen more than one in her years. They could be sources of power for certain magic -- or sources of fear for some. It was a mixture of reactions, so the boy’s accusation didn’t surprise her that much.
“I did not cause the eclipse. I assure you of that. It is a natural thing.” Catriona explained pointing to the hidden sun without looking up at it. “Give the sun a few more moments, and everything will be normal again. It’s simply the moon covering the sun.”
She watched the boy for a moment, as the wind blew her flowing white dress around her body. “Do you have a name?” Catriona asked him.
This world was dripping with war and battle. She had never felt it this strong, even at the height of the world wars. It angered her that Valhalla being spoken of so wrongly, but she would get to learning more about that when she could. First, the boy before her held her curiosity.
