Chatzy 001 | Jaqueline and Liam
Jaqueline: "I don't get why you're forcing me to watch this movie." Jack muttered, passing a glass of wine to Liam before taking a seat on the sofa, sitting on her leg. "You're not going to be quoting this throughout, are you?"
Liam: "Because it is a quality film, and it'd be a damn shame to not watch it," said Liam with a goofy grin, taking the glass gratefully and turning to face the screen. "It wouldn't count as watching Star Wars if I didn't quote the whole thing."
Jaqueline: "It counts as Nerd Wars." She said, nudging him with the remote. "Why can't we watch something that's quality like Harry Potter?" She questioned, pushing 'play' on the title menu. "I really hope this isn't how you woo your partners."
Liam: "I woo them with my charming good looks /and/ my impressive DVD collection," said Liam. "And I hate to break it to you, but if you're that into Harry Potter you're just as much of a nerd as me. Though I think I might have to stop talking to you if you don't know what house you're in."
Jaqueline: "Good looks? Impressive DVD collection?" She tossed her head back in a chuckle. "That's hilarious, Liam. You're such a comedian. I really doubt you are capable of that." Jaqueline said, taking a sip of her wine. "Ravenclaw, but I am /not/ a Harry Potter nerd. You can't prove anything."
Liam: Liam shook his head at her, clutching his chest in mock offense. "Comedy? I am hurt, Jack. Wounded. Cut open. Scraped by the edges of your sharp words." He took a sip of his own drink in turn, shaking his head. "If you know your house with that much confidence, you're a nerd. Remind me to bring along my Hufflepuff sweatshirt next time."
Jaqueline: "Thankfully you are. I needed a wounded man to smear on my toast for tomorrow's breakfast." She pointed a finger at him, snuggling into her seat. "H-hey! You know you're a Hufflepuff? We're watching the Harry Potter films next time you're over. /With/ our jumpers. Who are you? Cedric Diggory?"
Liam: "Cedric? You sure do know how to doll out a compliment. I like to think of myself as more of a Tonks, hair and all." said Liam, fluffing the hair atop his head, grin spreading across his face.
Jaqueline: She reached over and carded her fingers through his hair. "Hm, I /guess/ you can be Tonks. I can see it. Alright. You win this battle, Liam." She smiled before allowing her finer to poke the inside of his dimple. "You won't be winning next time, though. I guarantee it."
Liam: "I win everything," said Liam, "I'm just that great at everything. You shouldn't even try, honestly," he poked her back, still smiling. "See, I even win at poking faces."
Jaqueline: She rolled her eyes. "You're absolutely horrendous." She said, poking his face once more. "You're going to make me regret tonight, aren't you? I should put you into my schedule less often."
Jaqueline: She rolled her eyes. "You're absolutely horrendous." She said, poking his face once more. "You're going to make me regret tonight, aren't you? I should put you into my schedule less often."
Jaqueline: She rolled her eyes. "You're absolutely horrendous." She said, poking his face once more. "You're going to make me regret tonight, aren't you? I should put you into my schedule less often."
Liam: "You will have no regrets," said Liam, shaking his head at her. "Ridiculous thought, I am the only thing you need in your schedule."
Jaqueline: Jaqueline narrowed her eyes. "You're the only thing I need in my schedule?" She mulled the thought over, turning away from him to watch a few scenes from the film. "That sounds like you're flirting with me."
Liam: "Wishful thinking on your part," said Liam with another grin in her direction, turning to the screen and taking a sip of wine. "But your delusions of flirtation aside, I am a very fun and important person, you know. I probably make your year every time you see me."
Jaqueline: "I'm neither denying or acknowledging those accusations," she said, turning back to him. "We both know I have no delusions on your flirtatious nature, by the way."
Liam: "That's precisely what a delusional person would say," said Liam in a sing-song tone, leaning back further in the couch to look at her better. "I mean, you even think I'm more of a nerd than you. That's pretty delusional."
Jaqueline: She deadpanned. "You're absolutely horrible." Jaqueline said in pout, crossing one arm along her torso and bringing her wine to her lips once more. "You are more than a nerd than I am. You force me to watch all these films and I'm just playing with my chemistry kit."
Liam: "Yep, you got me, you're totally not a nerd with your chemistry kit. It's like you want me to make fun of you," Liam swung his leg up and nudged her a little wit his foot, a teasing expression on his face.
Jaqueline: "If you make fun of me, I can guarantee you'll regret it." Jaqueline nudged him back, flashing him a look. "I'm no Severus but you're sure as hell James Potter." She then pinched the bridge of her nose. "Oh my god, you're not supposed to find out how nerdy I am."
Liam: "Ha! I knew it!" Liam kicked his legs up in excitement like a little kid, face lighting up and dimples popping in. "I /knew/ you were a dork, Jacks. I knew it. And here we are with a confession, using a Harry Potter reference and watching Star Wars. It's a dream."
Jaqueline: She tapped him with the palm of her hand. "For goodness sake, Liam! Stop!" She exclaimed as she started to shake her head. "You're not supposed to know! I'm never going to leak anything else to you again! I'm nearly positive you won't let me live this down."
Liam: "Oh, you are entirely right about me not letting you live this down, every second of every day I'll call you up and ask you trivia." said Liam, still laughing. "You'll need to clean out your whole schedule for me now. And I'm very trustworthy, your little secret is safe with me, Nerd Girl."
Jaqueline: Jaqueline could feel a blush rise within her chest as she tried to fight the embarrassment from her body. "Liam, please! You're embarrassing me. I'm sure Tonks would /never/ do such a thing."
Liam: "Your words sting, but I'll power on," said Liam, faking a solemn attitude before being unable to contain his smile anymore. "Okay, okay, I'll stop. I've just got one question."
Jaqueline: "What is it?" She said, her tone was riddled with regret for accepting to answer his question.
Liam: Liam leaned forward so he was closer to him, face completely serious. "Do you..." he spoke slowly, like his question had a lot of weight. "Prefer the term geek or nerd?"
Jaqueline: Jack's hands took his face, staring him down for a few moments. "I'm going to kill you." She replied, her voice sinister. "But I prefer neither. If you don't quit now I'm going to send you home, Hufflepuff."
Liam: "Fine. My dogs will appreciate me more than you," said Liam, falling back dramatically. "They watch Star Wars quietly."
Jaqueline: "They have no choice. They're trained to love you." She pointed out. "I'm sure if one stayed with me, they'd appreciate me more than /you/ appreciate me."
Liam: "They would love me no matter what!" exclaimed Liam. "They are the best dogs in Bayside, I'm sure they wouldn't even go near you. They can sense hatred."
Jaqueline: "That's a lie! Because there's probably a person out there that'll love you more than your dogs!" She rebutted, shaking her head. "Dogs' loyalty can be bought with food. They don't bite the hand that feeds them, you know." She made a soft 'psh' sound with her lips. "I can sense hatred."
Liam: "You don't know! Are you a dog?" said Liam, wagging his finger at her. "No one will ever love me more than my dogs. Especially since their names are so kickass."
Jaqueline: She snapped her teeth at his finger. "No! I'm not a dog!" Jaqueline then moved his finger from her, but held his hand in hers. "How do /you/ even know if no one would love you more than your dogs? Yeah, sure they are, but their names won't mean anything if they don't love you."
Liam: "Well, maybe someone might in the future, but for now I'll take their love as my main source of not becoming the Grinch and stealing Christmas," said Liam, swinging their hands back and forth.
Jaqueline: "In the way future when our timeline collides with Star Wars', perhaps." She teased with a grin, lacing their fingers together and allowed the other to continue to swing them back and forth. "Take their love. I'll be the Grinch that steals Christmas."
Liam: "I'll have to loan you one of my dogs to be the poor thing the Grinch lugs around. I can curl my hair and be Cindy Loo Who." said Liam, smiling back at her. "And all Whos down in Bayside can teach you all about the true meaning of Christmas."
Jaqueline: "Ha-ha, very funny, Liam." She said, then giggled. "You're already making my heart grow two sizes today. If you keep this up, I might be able to learn how to love."
Liam: "See," said Liam, beaming at her. "I am good for something other than teasing you."
Jaqueline: She mimicked the look, giving a firm nod. "Dare I say that's what I like about you? Wait oh!" She grasped her chest. "Too much for this heart to handle!"
Liam: "Careful there, Jack, you might just be giving yourself a reputation of being nice and fuzzy and warm inside instead," said Liam, rubbing his chin as he pretended to be deep in thought.
Jaqueline: "That is not the kind of reputation I'd like." She straightened herself up, removing his hand from his chin. "Stroking your two chin hairs, are you?"
Liam: "Who am I, one of the three little piggies?" said Liam, turning his voice shrill. "Not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin!"
Jaqueline: Jaqueline's lips grew into a smile. "Yes. All three of the piggies! That's what you are!"
Liam: "With all the food you give me, I'm not surprised," said Liam, patting his stomach. "Speaking of..."
Jaqueline: She rolled her eyes. "I'll go make you a calzone." She muttered, getting up from her seat and finishing off her wine. "You're lucky I like you."
Liam: "You're the best," said Liam, jumping up and trailing after her towards the kitchen. "That I am, still don't beat the dogs though," he teased.
Jaqueline: "I know I am." She replied, looking over her shoulder at the other. "Are you saying that your dogs like you more than I do? That's insulting. I don't see them making you calzone." She turned back, taking her apron off the hook and wrapped it around her waist as they entered the kitchen. She went to the fridge, opening the door and taking out the premade supplies for situations like this. "Turn the oven on, will you? It'll be set by the time I'm finished with this."
Liam: "If they had opposable thumbs, I'd have them working around the clock," said Liam, studying the oven and trying to figure out what setting to put it on.
Jaqueline: "Each one taking over two hours of the day?" She questioned, taking out a dish from a drawer and greased it before she put the dough onto it. "Are you switching your toppings up tonight, or do you want your usual?"
Liam: "Space out, wouldn't wanna hurt the poor things," said Liam, fiddling with the oven until he got it to the right thing, praying he didn't just break it. "Change? When do you know me to change up how I take the best food in the world?"
Jaqueline: Jaqueline rolled her eyes. "Of course, how can I forget?" She murmured, putting the cheese and toppings he liked into the calzone. "Do you even deviate from the status quo? No? Stick to what you know?"
Liam: Liam burst into song, twirling over to her. "If you gotta be cool follow one simple rule, don't mess with the flow, no no!" He struck a pose, pointing at her to continue the song.
Jaqueline: She chuckled, moving her body to the beat that was in her head. "Stick to the status quo!" She folded the calzone and pinched it before taking the pan into her hands. "Look at me, what do you see? Intelligence beyond compare!" She sang, lifting a finger and pointing it back at him.
Liam: "But inside I am stirring, something strange is occurring, it's a secret I need to share!" Doing another awkward spurt of dancing, he pointed back to her, beaming that she was singing along.
Jaqueline: She began to bop her head and motioned for Liam to open the oven for her. "Open up, dig way down deep." She shrugged her shoulders in dance before continuing. "Hip hop is my passion! I love to pop and lockable jam and break!" She twirled, the bottom of her dress lifting slightly and did an Elvis movement, then pointed back to him.
Liam: Liam opened the oven before bursting into laughter at her movements, shaking his head. "I don't even think I can continue after that," he said breathily, trying to stop his chuckles.
Jaqueline: She burst into laughter, resting her hand on the counter so she could keep herself from falling. "I just love to pop and lock! What can I say?"
Liam: "You're /such/ a dork, Jack. Really." He shook his head at her, leaning back against the counter. "More than me. That's saying an awful lot."
Jaqueline: "Oh, please!" She waved her hand at him. "You're a major dork like, Caprain Dork of the Dorkship Enterprise."
Liam: Liam put his hand to his mouth, feigning faux surprise. "Excuse me, you're Dorkerys Dorkdork of the House Dork-aryen, Dork of Her Name, The Uncool, Queen of the Dorks, Queen of Nerds and the Geeks and the Smart Alecs, Dorkeesi of the Great Dork Sea, Dorker of Dorks, and Mother of Little Baby Dork Dragons."
Jaqueline: .She covered her mouth, her eyes widening as she tried to stifle her own laughter. "You're ridicuous! I can't even!" She took a deep breath before fanning herself. "Okay, Liam Nerdyson, prince of Nerdgard. God of Geekdom
Liam: "Princess Dorkelia Dorkonette Dorkopolis Dorkaldi." said Liam back, smile widening.
Jaqueline: "Okay, Dorkideon, Dork of the seven seas of Dorkdom." She crossed her arms and smiled. "You're not going to win, Dorktapus."
Liam: "I'm already winning, Dorkeban Dorkio Dorkardo Dorkoya de la Dorka Dorkirez," he said triumphantly, sticking his tongue out at her a little.
Jaqueline: .She smirked and took a step forward. "Geek Stark, First of His Name, King of the Dorks, the First Geeks and the Dorknar, Lord of the Seven Geekdoms." Jaqueline pressed her finger against his chest. "I. Win."
Liam: "Sir Dorkolas de Dorksy-Dorkington, or Nearly Headless Dork," he replied, taking her hand and lifting it up and waving it for a moment before dropping it. "That was you waving a white flag of surrender, Dorkaroo."
Jaqueline: "Oh ha-ha." She bobbed her head with each "ha". "Okay, Dorknado. We both know you're Dorkbus Dorkerus Potter." She stuck her tongue out at him and stood proudly. "You're not going to win."
Liam: "And you are Dorkigo Dorktoya - I killed your father and should be prepared to die," said Liam, grinning wildly at her. "Dorkity Dork."
Jaqueline: She gasped and nudge him. "Well, you know what? /You're/ a dork buster! They call you for those dorkhosts to exterminate them with your dorkiness."
Liam: "Fine, fine. You win. But only because you hold the fate of my food in your hands, I don't want to be poisoned." He nudged her back, eyes going back to the oven
Jaqueline: She turned back to the oven, reaching over to turn on the light and to observe the calzone. "Well, you're right. Luckily, it just finished so I don't need to poison it." She said, turning off the oven and opening a drawer to get her oven mitts.
