[ eternalsilxnce ] — Her heels clattered impatiently on the wet ground. A few drops of rain, prelude to an expected shower, fell on her collar much to the damsel’s dismay. Desperate sigh slipped past her lips plentifully over the last few seconds, blended with an obvious mixture of frustration. How could there be not a single cab on the road when many are available on days she has no use for them? When a taxi finally came into sight, almost an hour later, she watched calmly – but not without a devious master plan – as the guy few steps ahead flagged it down. On normal days, she would let it slide but when she is late, very late, her natural uncouth instinct comes alive. The stewardess, unwilling to allow her ride to be stolen, rushed forward, free hand reached out to open the door before slipping effortlessly into the back seat. Titling her head to the side, her gaze fell on the puzzled face as she nonchalantly offered her side of the story. “I apologize but I'm in some kind of a rush, if you could kindly send me to Incheon International airport first, I’ll pay triple of the cab fare to you.” Time waits for no one. It was a good practice as she shot a menacing look, dressed down with an enchanted smile to the equally puzzled driver, her voice when she spoke, was soft as firm instruction slipped past her lips. “Incheon International Airport, and please, send this kindhearted soul to his destination after that.”
