“I wish I could say the same..but i have standard in my mischievousness” He chuckled, throwing away his trash in the nearby trash bin and giving her a daring smile that came across more playful then anything.
“Sounds like you got a lot of people on your list..” He paused for a moment. “You know whats funny? its that the world seems huge and vast and that someone can just hide easily in it like a needle in a haystack but when in actuality thats not the case.” He wiped his hands on his jeans and hummed. “You see, there are a lot of ways that people leave a trail–everyone in the world, even babies, leave a trail from the moment their born, making it so easy to track them down….so….when you look at all that–” He turned to her. “The world is actually very small and your needle that you hid in the haystack is actually a huge object..easily found.”
He chuckled softly and sipped on the straw to his drink. “Nah, I noticed you following me all the way from the bookstore” He smiled. “Nice smooth meeting by the way~” He bowed his head. “You can just call me ACE.” He held out his hand and shook hers, pausing for a moment. “I’m not cheap you know..they did tell you that right?”

A smirk painted on her lips as he spoke. A good listener she may be but she has proven to excel better in being stubborn. “ Ah — it seemed our first clash may come earlier than expected, I prefer calling you Han Joon. it seemed more fitting to your overall appearance.”
warm & friendly
maybe a little too,
over positive
“But who knows,” she resumed.
“Perhaps one day, you’ll succeed in changing my mind to call you ACE after our first project together.”
Talk about being confident. What then if he failed in searching for the one she has hoped for the most? But this is his field of game, while she is a paying spectator, cheering him on. Trusting him. But that would be hard, isn’t it, for she grew up abandoning trust.
“Not a lot but maybe a handful, nothing you can’t handle,” she, not a fan of mistreated labor, reassured him. Words slipped out kindly at first, unintentionally sneaking in a tint of mischief. “Don’t worry, I wouldn’t expect you to work overtime for me, however they did inform me you’re on discount especially on weekdays.”
