when seongmin had been younger and more naive, he dreamed of the day that he graduated from high school so he could spend the mornings out of school and in his bunk bed, catching extra hours of sleep that he’d been unable to receive prior. if only he’d known that he’s be waking up even earlier and going to sleep even later to fit extra training sessions in or to work in the studio for just a couple hours longer. all morning, he’d been wracking his brain with english, his biggest weakness at the moment. his mind was a muddled mess of english and korean that his head was spinning round and round until it landed on thoughts of lunch.

he mentally slapped himself for being such an idiot, sending the texts before he had a moment to stop himself. one text became two and then three, trying to explain himself. for some reason, mina got his tongue more tangled up in two minutes than two hours of english. to think that so many pages of his journal’s lyrics were dedicated to her but he couldn’t compose three texts without wanting to smack himself. he sighed to himself for a moment before taking the elevator down to the cafeteria.
