   A small gasp leaves Axyl’s lips as they are SHOVED against the backrest of her pilot’s chair, the concubus’s hands on her shoulders having a FIRM GRIP, though one of them moves to loosely press against the Commander’s throat. They can’t help but smile even through the HAMMERING of their heart, ( the fast paced fluttering of that pulse either due to excitement or an underlying fear of eventual death ) Axyl shifting her body, sliding downwards to rest her tailbone against the edge of the seat && wrap her legs around Con’s middle. 

   Blush stains the Commander’s cheeks pink, dark eyes LOCKED on the other’s face.   ❝ It’s going to be difficult to pass this off as research, ❞   Axyl crosses her ankles, bends her knees to pull her companion closer. The smile on those red lips widens && breathily, almost a whisper, Axyl continues:  

   ❝ … But I don’t care. ❞

It had been a shock to the system. Few people wanted to know him after all he had done. Fewer people could actually find him. But Echo, well, it wasn’t surprising she had managed to find him. Still... He treaded carefully. Would she even want to know him after the devastation he had caused all those years ago? The terrible things he’d said to her when she backed out like his brother had... He half expected to feel a knife through his chest. 

“Maybe that would be for the best.” He offers. The confident, self-assured Cinis she had known was gone. Even now, though his voice didn’t waiver, the mask covering his face, the sickness in his stomach. It was all there. Uncertainty. 

“How did you find me?” If she could... Others could.
