  hyunshik had never seemed the type to care about little things. which was good as zipporah always seemed to try to make things as perfect as she was able to. to be able to reel her back from the nitpicking of her own work, of herself as well. not that she wasn’t a confident person -- oh but the scars that lined down her back, the ones that were well hidden until her wings were moved away. she wasn’t apologizing for them, but simply warning about them being there once his hands were on her back. a warning as he had surprising started to massage her, she didn’t want the scars to take him by surprise. 

at his response, she paused, before giggling. wings fluttering along with her laugh. “ i suppose not.. but some do, i didn’t want them to be a surprise to you is all. ”

    “ and don’t you think i wouldn’t do the same for him. ” he spoke. daichi wasn’t suspicious of tiffany nor her loyalty to joaquin. but he still lacked a general understanding of her. her past, what she was, and just her in general. he accepted her around because she was erebus’ friend. more once joaquin had taken a liking to her. however, he could never fully trust her or her motives. now that it seems joaquin is serious about her, well.. he had to make sure his old friend was in good hands. 

“ i can probably list a good number of things you wouldn’t do for him. -- you wouldn’t seal away your true nature for him. i know that. not that you should, though. he loves you for all that you are. the dark part of you included. -- however, it’s what you do with that nature of yours that i am questioning you about. ” daichi crossed his legs over each other as he sat. “ i just want to make sure you don’t intend anything upon our sweet joaquin, is all. that you will treat him well. ” 

it wasn’t really a threat, oh no. it was more of .. a friendly understanding ! he was saying all of it was a slight smile of course. though perhaps there was a glint of warning in the way he tapped on the arm chair.

his eyes blinked quickly at the sudden touch to his nose. though after the moment had passed, he chuckled softly. “ did you want my attention, love ?” he teased lightly. he always did get tunnel vision when he was drawing. as though his whole world was zeroed into one thing. even when the art was of the person that was sitting beside him the entire time. with the boop to his nose, well that certain got his attention back on them again. his hand gently move to caress their face, chuckling again. 

“ well now you have my attention…” he hummed, before gently booping them back on their nose as well.
