Pet shops were both great and not. It all depended on the person that owned the store and how they might treat the animals. This particular pet store, though, was actually very pleasant and Ophelia found herself travelling there more and more. The days became weeks and sure enough, she’d be in there - nearly every morning, looking around for food that she could spread on the ground for her woodland creatures. ❝I don’t suppose you have anything I could feel to the squirrels, do you?❞ Other than the stereotypical food that people assumed.

“hey, I drew this for you.” charlie holds out the canvas piece with a bright smile. he’s been drawing remy for weeks now, it’s a long process to really capture the essence of someone like her. she’s other worldly, isn’t she? he just hopes that she’ll like it, he’s done his absolute best to capture her in the picture - tending to her garden while wearing a flower crown and a very soft smile.

❝ you ever consider signing up for a training session with me? ❞ felix asks with a tilt of his head, smiling softly in her direction. his arms are folded over his chest, tank top is a little too stretched around his chest. he should consider buying himself a slightly bigger one. he leans back against the wall, smile brightening considerably as he makes eye contact with verona.

❝darling!❞ soft voice calls out his name as she rounds the corner - meeting darling in front of the coffee shop. she smooths down her dress to get rid of the wrinkles and creases, then makes eye contact with darling again - wearing a bright smile. ❝sorry i’m a little late. a signing ran over a little bit - i definitely wasn’t planning on being late to meet you.❞ a hand flattens her hair and she smiles softly. ❝are you ready to go in?❞

his fingers were covered in paint, along with his wrists and palms. so he keeps his hands up and out of the way when he greets scott with a soft kiss. ❝ i’ll be with you in a minute, promise. i just need to finish off this last piece and then wash my hands. ❞ charlie says with a little smile, head tilting to the side as he watches scott carefully and closely. ❝ did you have a good day? ❞

“i made a flower crown.” percy says, wearing the brightest smile. “do you want one?” she holds up the pre-made flower crown, hovering - she hasn’t put it on the others’ head yet because she wants to wait for permission first. her fingers wriggle against the headband holding the flowers together.

“i’m afraid i don’t understand what you’re asking of me.” ophelia said quietly, hands resting in front of their waist. they rocked back and forth on their heels, glancing up to the new person standing just a few steps away from their stall. there were a few potions lying across the table, along with a few other items.
