"Everyone shut up and look at me!"

it was a little too common for the dorm to grow louder and louder in volume during the free time the ladies had to themselves. you could make out the way the females would throw their voices into talks, hoping to get their word in before the topic drifted into something else-- not to mention, the laughter could probably be heard throughout the entire building. they'd been told to keep it down but sometimes, it got out of hand. this was one of those times.

every talk going on had died immediately after the younger yelled out over them, pleading for the girls to shut up for just a minute. irene's eyes lifted automatically from where they were set on wendy before her, having just been engaging in excited discussion over their next comeback, to look up at joy, her features clearly exasperated. she wonders how long she'd been trying to get their attention.

joohyun is the first to break the silence, "what are we looking for.. exactly..?"

Rose sat there, mouth agape, completely and entirely mortified at the words that had carelessly come flowing from her lips. She blinked, once, and then twice, struggling to find her voice.

“Uhh.. uh….” She stammered, only guttural noises seeming to fill the silence, until a deluge of mumbles came forth.

“I am so sorry… I don’t know what I was thinking… I assumed you’d watched it already. I feel awful!”

With a small whine, her head careened forth, her face finding a place buried in her upturned palms, embarrassment coursing through her veins.

The female's reaction causes Joohyun's own eyes to widen considerably, guilt washing over her in a matter of no time at the clear distress the latter was feeling from the words she meant to pass off as a simple joke.

her arms lift, hands set out in front of her chest where she shakes them in time with her head, trying to deny any of the guilt she just pushed onto the other, "No, no! There's no need to feel bad, I was only kidding-- I've already seen the movie, I know that it ends happily and Joy makes it back in time to help Riley." She talks fast, words tumbling over one another as she tries to help ease the female, a smile making way onto her lips, "Really, it's all okay."

» in all honesty, noona, I have a difficulty telling those two apart, sometimes. especially when girls do it - is it sad tears? happy tears? laughter tears? did she recently chop onions? allergies? who knows! « he throws his arms up in the air to show his clueless state, a smile tugging on his lips. » however, in most cases it’s usually ‘guys suck’ so I’m always braced for that scenario. as much as I feel obligated to defend my kind, it would be so rude if I went on saying guys are great while the girl is suffering. « he rambles on in a quickened pace, not even stopping to catch a breather; there’s no actual proof the female is actually having love troubles, but mingyu’s rather quick to jump to conclusions. » so, which one is it in your case? «

maybe it was a little too endearing, the way the male babbled on and on over the one question-- she can't hold it back, the way her lips curl up at either end to shape into a smile, one that softens her features while she listens. she agrees, somewhat. the majority of girls she had comforted over the years had been over heartbreak or a boy. though thankfully, in her case, there was no boy saddening her.

"you sure have a lot to say, huh?" it isn't demeaning him in any way, it helps her actually. people who talk more seem to fill in the awkwardness that she really is, they fill in the spaces of time she feels like she needs to speak, "by the way, it was laughter.. i'm sure i almost had a six pack forming there a minute ago." she confesses, a hand lifting to swipe her index finger against her waterline, picking up the remaining tears of happiness, "the pictures they have floating around nowadays seem to always trigger that laughing bone in me."

    ;       오94.      `      there’s a look of astonishment upon his typically expressionless features as his noona speaks, his eyebrow quirking as he makes his offense to her statement known. with a sigh, he pinches the bridge of his nose and reiterates his argument, hoping that the more he repeats his words, the more likely he will be to convince the other of his correctness.

   ❛     how would a t-rex win a fight against a giant robot? what is the t-rex going to bite? a giant robot is made of metal, it’d be basically immune to the t-rex’s teeth and claws. not to mention that a t-rex’s claws are pretty much useless anyways, they have tiny arms. what are they going to reach? a robot would win, no doubt. ❜

she can't help it, the laughter that ensues from just the reaction he gives in return to her words, a hand naturally lifting up to cover her mouth with the back of it, a habit really, "a t-rex's teeth isn't made of styrofoam you know." she jokes, bringing a lighter air to her side of the arguement-- she knows she was right, there is no way a computed steel device could take down a large predator.

"he doesn't need to use his claws to take down anything! i mean, they never really needed to, right?" her lips purse over to the side, giving off the feeling of her really contemplating when in reality, she didn't need to think it over. she'd been set since the talk started, she was definitely the one in the right here, "they use their size and jaw, don't they? i'm sure they could chew into anything if they really wanted to."

the suggestion draws out a soft sounded laugh from joohyun, teeth slightly biting down into her bottom lip as she smiles, "i think that sounds like the best idea i've heard all week.." she muses out, her brain already attempting to select the proper attire for an event as such. she probably wouldn't be able to squeeze it in anytime soon even if she'd planned it, everything had been so hectic lately. that still didn't stop her from dreaming though.

"can you imagine getting a time to actually do that?" she's mostly talking to herself, though, the girl is obviously inserted in the plan that's in her head-- really, any one of her friends that might want to spend the day watching movies in nothing but sleepwear, "i'll have to let you know when a free day shows up, you'll be one of the first i invite over."

it's not as if joohyun's actions were anything new to the public, much less to the band's fanbase. but just maybe this time, she might've went overboard with the several pats she landed on wendy's behind. she even fit a small squeeze into the mix for the final tap-- what?! she couldn't help herself, it was almost as if the younger had asked for it.

to others, her motions may've appeared a little racy this time around even if the intentions were nothing but innocent and friendly, a tease she always had going on between the two of them. the accompanying idol might've hit the nail on the head though, she would probably hear an earful on why problems could arise from what she did no matter what she really meant by it.

giving a light hearted laugh and a smile that softened her features, making this all apear less serious than it might've been, she replied, "you might be right, i guess i'm going to have to watch myself the next time wendy tempts me." it's a joke, a way to ease up the slightly heavy and awkward air-- and she hopes it's what the neighboring female only takes it as, not wanting to stir up more trouble than what she might already have found herself in, "i'm sure everything will work itself out though, no worries, right?"

“did you really just insult captain america in front of me?”

"He was obviously in the wrong!" She's genuinely baffled as the latter tries to so as little as defend him, as if the hero had done any good in his latest movie, her allegiance clearly being with that of tony; ironman.

"If he had only let go of that pride for a little longer, maybe everything wouldn't have hit the fan so fast-- maybe the avengers could've done more." She carries on, head shaking from side to side in disbelief at the fact she had to explain any reasons as to why the captain was most of the downfall in the movie, "their weakness ended up being about how seperated they were, every thanks to steve."

So maybe she was a little too defensive over the fictional movie, but her loyalty lay with stark-- she wasn't going to back out of a debate to defend her point.
