Harry wipes away at the pooling sweat on the back of his neck, it’s a mistake because now his hand is soaked, and it makes it harder than ever to keep a grip on the hammer. Pulling out the old nails of the floor in the library should have been easy in theory, but as everything else, it proved harder because magic. “Bloody idiots.” Harry mutters, staining his arm to pull and nearly falters when it finally does come out. He grabs the offending nail and throws it into the bucket by the door with the others. It’s been a slow summer, of mostly hiding in the dark hallows of the old house his godfather left him; a grave really. He had nearly been pressured to sell it, when dating Ginny as she had hated it...but like his career, his relationship was also over and he found purpose in renovating the tomb into something more modern.
