flicker. || Closed
Violet stood on Elysia, her stomach pressed up against the half-wall that lined the drop off of the edge. It was mid-afternoon, just an hour or so after a fateful visit to the church. And after she got something to eat (as for some reason, the curse suppressed her hunger), she decided to walk up here, alone.
She looked down at the island below her, and she slowly outstretched her hand.
And a faint golden light emitted from the tips of her fingers, flickering faintly against the waters below.
The flicker was more from disuse. A bit of rust that accumulated since she hadn’t been able to use it in quite a while. The same happened with her voice, which was just a little weaker than it usually was. But at the very least, it was back.
Violet forced some more magic out, and a full glow danced on her skin, the flicker only contained to the edges of light.
And she smiled.
The curses were finally broken.
