Old guys from 2009-2010 + current redraws. Ancestors of… everything.

I cut them off, never brought them back, never dared to share and speak of them again. I hated being asked about them, I never wanted anyone to know and remember me and my art. My youth was a mess; I erased so much and tried to erase my entire self.

But I longed them for years and so they leaked into my art and creatures anyway. Most of my creatures are long, leggy, and took beards, hairy ears, or other details from these.

I don't know what I feel about them and my entire artistic journey now…

I have a theory that the nsfw michael audios are going to inadvertently put the nail in the coffin for mjblr. because the fics are getting shorter and shorter and they’re getting harder and harder to come by.. I think people want to ingest nsfw content faster and eliminating the “middle man” for lack of better words, will give people a quicker dopamine hit for less the effort. does that make sense? like reading a fic requires sustained attention.. you read, you have to imagine the scene, interpret the emotions,and spend twenty minutes or an hour getting to the payoff. an audio is press play, listen, done.

i think readers who want the quick hit will migrate to audios? then in turn and its going to make it to where.. maybe lesser fics will be produced. i think its also worth it to say if writers notice their fic gets a fraction of the attention that a 90 second audio gets, some will inevitably think, "why tf am I spending so much time on this?" obviously you should be writing for the love of the game, BUT i get that it can absolutely be frustrating.

communities often follow whatever format is most rewarded. and idk! im just yapping :)
