A problem in fandoms I've noticed is that they see corrective rape as a good thing because it's queer. But we're not supposed to talk about that I guess. It's why I don't read fanfics anymore, it's basically: Guy guy gets raped and then realizes "Oh no I enjoyed it." and then that's the whole thing, he's gay now. Like what the fuck is that?

I think language on tumblr has evolved so far away from the norm that it's basically a linguistics competition, meanwhile real issues get overlooked because of the use of complex words and jargon the size of a thesis statement that literally no one is going to read.

The amount of people who don't know Jimmy is a legitimate Gravity Falls character astounds me. Right now all Jimmy stuff is up to personal interpretation, so we don't know anything about him other than he was Stan's pal, a former lawbreaker and Ghost rider, but the episode was SUPPOSED to be introduced before or after scary-oke, the man was/is a real canon character, but there is so little to go off people just assume what he could possibly be, we don't know his hair colour it's just a guess, we don't know where he's from, what he sounds like etc... thanks Alex.

Like think about it, someone finally claims that bounty on Ford and murders him between realms, so Ford's spirit doesn't end up inhabiting their underworld because he was killed in the inter-dimensional equivalent of an airport corridor, and Jimmy knows it because the man has fought demons there, has a throne there and pretty much does his whole vengeance business down there and Stan is super distraught because he JUST got Ford back only for him to be killed by a bounty hunter, so they have to go track down where the fuck Ford's spirit actually is and when they do Ford is just like: "Ah yes, perhaps I should've been more careful, in retrospect I should have been paying more attention." and Stan is just like "Christ, Sixer, you dumb bastard! Didn't ya think to seal all loose ends, I've been chased by the mob like three times, they WILL break your kneecaps, they never forget, you shoulda changed your name, burned the paperwork and made sure everyone thinks you died in Manitoba!" and Ford is just there scratching his chin deep in thought like "That would have been useful information." and Stan is so pissed, because his chance to gloat about his street smarts is the only thing keeping him from killing Ford twice.
