GO MAKE SOMETHING SELF INDULGENTRIGHT NOW
sowwy for not posting much art lately :c I've been completely obsessed with one of the best games ever
Hai Destinyyy!
I love love love your work to the point that itās really inspired me to contribute creatively to the fandom. I have some fics just to myself in a doc, but I am an AVID Ao3 user.
Iāve been thinking about publishing but Iām a little shy to share it with the world and worry that if it doesnāt ādo wellā then Iād take it personally. I also have never really posted just in general.
How did you start and grow a platform? Any Advice? Should i just go for it? D;
Thanks for all the work you do, and like I said, youāve truly been such an inspiration for me and especially my writing <333
OOOOOH!!! PLEASE DO POST FICS!!! DO IT!!! ALL THE FICSSSS AHHHH!!! The more the merrier!!!
And aww...I know the feeling.....trust me I do.
I started originally like everyone else without anyone seeing my art. I've had this account for maybe 8 years? Or more? So sadly it does take time to develop a platform and followers. The only way I know to 'gain a following' is through ''fairly'' regular updates and a bit of luck.
There is a possibility that when you upload your fics, it may not gain as much traction as you'd like...but the thing is? It'll be OUT there. You can always look at at and say: "Wow. I WROTE something AND posted it? That's way more than a ton of people can say--and I got to write what I wanted to, not what others expected of me."
There is so much POWER in that; writing something YOU want to.
I would say, go for it. At least upload one fic! If you have more, then space out the days you upload them so that people aren't overwhelmed.
Another thing that could really help is engaging with other fanfic authors. Comment on their work (the ones you like) and tell them how you feel about their writing. The more people you interact with (as long as you're an adult as this is an 18+ fandom please!!!) the more connections you could be making. Either way, good luck in your endeavors! I hope to see your fanfic(s) out there in the wild!!
I donāt know who she/they are yet but you have inspired me to make another Oc for Star Wars. I thank you for this. She is Also a Senator because I need a reason to weasel my way into the Senate and make other people talk. Is she shipped with anyone though? Hmmm no, not yet. Will it be possibly be a problematic situation with a bounty hunter sporting a wide brimmed hat and red eyes? Maybe.
MAKE THEM!!!! Give Aquetzalli a friend!! Also omg if that's who I think it is that would be an amazingly scandalous ship >:]
