Moments like this were rare. A beautiful autumn morning free of any life threatening situations. Somehow the stars had aligned allowing Chloe and Holly some much needed R&R out of uniform. And what luck that it was on a weekend too! That meant the local farmer's market was open for business, and Holly was ready to haggle.
"Okay. The game plan," It's almost like they're having a mission meeting, but instead of fighting whatever threat was plaguing the city that day, it was for shopping. Holly has her hands on the young girl's shoulders, and she was nodding with each rule. "Don't look too interested in anything, even if you really want it. The sticker price doesn't mean anything. Always ask for way lower than you think they'll accept because they'll always go up from there. You've got cuteness on your side, so people should feel bad for us and give us a discount."
Pulling out her wallet, she checks the contents. "I've got $100 and I still need to buy groceries, but I swear we're going to get us some beautiful fabric today! And whatever you want! My treat!" Holly was probably the worst role model for Chloe... But at least she was putting her full heart into it? "Let's go!!!"
