another pure world
There was a pattern to the wolf’s footfalls, each step seemingly planned a moment before it hit the ground. The wolf themselves seemed distant, eyes slits and ears narrowed against their head, body and about low to the ground as they loped along the side of the street.
They had not seemed to notice the change in the scenery from the deadness of their city to something alive and vibrant. Perhaps it was that they had not allowed themselves to acknowledge it.
The device on their left foreleg gleamed every so often, a pulse of green sweeping across its screen. The wolf looked up, eyes gleaming the same green for a split second.
VATS was picking something up, someone up. But it was unable to properly lock onto the idenfied being. The wolf huffed and glanced around, looking for another person.
The streets were empty though. Except…was that a dog? It was hard to tell; the shape was bathed in shadow- it appeared to be relaxing, just maybe. The wolf took a few tentative steps towards the canine-like shape and then stopped.
"Friend or foe?"
