hi everyone happy sunday😽 this has been a stressful time for everyone i feel like. whether it’s work, school, personal lives, even tumblr. but! i just thought i would share some things i like to do when i’m feeling a little stressed!
clean something! it doesn’t have to be something huge. even just cleaning up a nightstand or putting shoes away
pamper yourself! do a little facemask, take a bath, take a long shower, hair masks, body scrubs, there’s so much! even making yourself a cup of tea or your favorite drink, listening to your favorite songs, maybe going on a walk
rest rest rest!!! lay around, sit in your favorite spot, read a book, doodle, lay in bed cuddled up in blankets, watch a show!! it is GOOD to rest and relax! i’m super guilty of feeling like i don’t deserve it; or that i haven’t done enough to rest. you don’t need to deserve rest!!!
talk to someone you love! on sunday i usually text people or call people for a little bit, it fills my cup :)
bake! cook! i try to plan a sunday dinner (obviously you don’t have to do this it’s just something i like to do) of something new, or a comfort food! or i bake, make up new recipes. it’s a nice distraction from my mind
anyway, please don’t think that i’m saying you need to do this, or any of these for that matter. these are just some things that i like to spend my sunday doing to unwind and relax. i even have an unwinding playlist i would love to share if you’re interested, dm me!!
