Also... Lapi's new outfit! The hood plus how she is all covered!!! Is that meant to represent her current mental state? Unlike her Canon outfit after her reformation, this one feels more of a "hiding" mentality, with the long sleeves and hood.

Hehehe yess thank you for noticing. >:) There are a lot of little details here that I'm thrilled people are catching on to.

And yes, Lapis' entire look is meant to be more closed off, hidden, etc. Even her skirt is longer and tighter, her sleeves are fully down to her wrists, etc.

A couple of people have compared her hood to a mourning veil - that can definitely be read that way. Overall, she's just closing herself off in as many ways as possible.
