👻 - Sometimes, she was approached by larger people in attempts to intimidate her, pick on her - or just being an asshole and cause a trouble. To her, it was way too easy to turn extra defensive, even if the situation didn’t require it: make them regret that choice, show she had some hidden claws and no fear to stand up for herself. Physically, small built Kylie was never a fighter - she was far better than punching away her problems, even if it sometimes felt like an easier solution. The words spoken by her were her spikes: a mild warning towards the stranger who eerily had approached her space for no apparent reason. There was just no denial, something how he behaved was translated off-putting - nothing paranormal, but as a person, there was slight chime of alarm bells. She could make herself look bigger than she was by words, but anything she could really use as a final straw were quick feet, or a heavy bag of study books, and something extra she recently fetched from the very library, spread under her view: “Connection between occultism and urban legends”, “The Sun - an Eldritch god ” and “the Witches”.
❝ I thought I said beating up not straight out kill someone. Look, trying to intimidate me gets you nowhere. I got nothing but my books and a running deadline I’ve got to meet. ❞ She idly responded, giving him a raise of a brow before looking back down at the paper she worked on about the evidence they had had about the newest case. (One, which he had brushed). At least she hoped ignoring him signaled a hint ‘I’m not fucking interested in chatting with you any longer’.
Hearing her name, though, got that gaze immediately lift up. Surprised. Quickly checking whether or not she had scribbled it anywhere, but no, there was no indication he would’ve read it from somewhere. Calmly placing down a pen on the desk, she stood up from her seat, staring straight up into his eyes with a frown. ❝ Let’s say I’m not really fan about kicking ass of the living. So, I suppose we have an agreement. ❞
