MOAR JEWELS! While waiting for my custom printable for the 50/50 to arrive, I have been working on holiday exchange things. For dolls. Because. So, once again, walk into the land of camera skills that totally rock (*snorts, holding back laughter*). BEHOLD! 1:6th scale shenanigans!

Sometimes I wonder why I try to photo silver against an aluminum foil base for my gown designs. Like a fool. Answer: Hands.

the instructions give a really bad folding order with tons of unnecessary extra folds, so i recommend making test units to come up with your own folding method. namely, probably just make the decoration/curly bits part completely separately after unfolding the unit or smth.

I’m on an older than dust-photo-posting-spree, apparently.

These are from 2008, my Limhwa Limho Mano is holding two actual 1:3 scale cold-cast-resin, realistic baby girl figurines. They don’t move, they are static figures, so there’s actually two of them; one with open eyes and one with closed eyes. They were a gift for my mother’s birthday many years ago, from a good friend of hers. 

My Mano is not a 1:3 doll, he is 67cm tall, so he would be much taller than a 6′ adult male, which he is meant to be at around 6′4″, but 67cm would make him  6′6′, which I am pretty sure Limhwa didn’t intend him to be -- and his head is too big (IMHO), to be proportionate to that scale/height. At least, in my “ideal” scaled world, he’s not scaled to be 1:3; his body is too small for his head. 

I really liked these photos when I took, them, but they are super dark and crappy, as per my usual photography... if it can be called that.
