such a lovely day ✨ went for three seperate walks with 3 different groups of people, still had almost the whole morning to myself and got some uni work done in the afternoon :)
1/ i'm looking forward to a lot of days like this in april. being around lots of people, out and about regardless of the weather, and slow but steady work on my goals 五日一石.
Hi there! Sorry if it's a weird ask but I was wandering if you or one of your followers could help me find a fic please?? It's post order 66 so Anakin is already fallen but Obi-Wan stays with him and doesn't try to run because he's raising Luke. I also remember a scene when Obi Wan almost dies because he tries to save Luke who was drowning in a lake and his force suppressing collar malfunctions.
I can't find it anywhere and I'm starting to think I hallucinated the whole thing I'm going insane
Anyway sorry, I really love your work and hope your health keeps getting better and better, feel free to ignore this
thanks friend! that fic doesn't sound familiar off the top of my head, but let me pass it on to my followers who often do know these things!! anyone got a link??
a continuation of the day 1 prompt, I thought you were dead. the story of how anakin ends up in the suit, despite being a double agent.
He had a bad feeling about this. He had the feeling for the entire time, ever since the idea was suggested to him.
Faking his own death. Convincing Obi-Wan that he had died.
The first thing Anakin had thought of when Mace suggested the idea to him was how a year ago, their positions had been reversed. His and Obi-Wan’s. How Obi-Wan must have stood there, listening as Mace suggested he fake his death- and convince Anakin that it really happened.
It was a strange switch of positions. One that Anakin wasn’t exactly happy about.
“I can sense your unease,” Mace said softly, looking at Anakin with eyes full of sorrow.
“But we do not have any other options.”
It stung. It hurt. It felt as if his whole world was crashing down. As if it had all been a lie.
But in a way, it had been.
“I know,” Anakin replied, his voice cracking.
He turned away, to look out the window. To watch the sun set for one last time over Coruscant as Anakin Skywalker.
When he arrived on the planet, on Mustafar, the first thing that Anakin thought of was the old legends the pilots in Watto’s shop had told him of hell. How it was full of fire, how people went there to be punished for their sins.
How hell was full of rivers of fire, how far it was from the warmth of God.
He didn’t believe any of it as a child, and laughed it off as the pilots trying to scare him.
But as he stated out, out at the rivers of fire, his body felt cold. And he felt alone.
He hadn’t told Padme the full plan- he hadn’t told anyone. Despite her worries, she wasn’t to be involved. It would only make things messier for him, and he was only supposed to be faking his death to Obi-Wan, not actually dying.
So when Padme’s ship landed on the platform, Anakin knew that he was in for a twist that he hadn’t prepared for.
He would never hurt her, but he needed her to stay back. Stay behind. He needed to know where Obi-Wan was, what Obi-Wan was doing, and if he would be coming.
“Step away from her, Anakin.” Obi-Wan commanded from the top of the landing ramp.
Anakin didn’t move.
“Step away.” Obi-Wan demanded as he approached.
“Or what?” Anakin snapped, annoyed and frustrated at the situation.
“Ani-“ Padme began, but he shot her a warning look.
This was between him and Obi-Wan.
“Padme,” Obi-Wan said, his tone cautious.
She stepped away, and Obi-Wan and Anakin began to circle each other.
Anakin bit his lip, looking around and away from Obi-Wan, trying to think of how he could use his surroundings to his advantage.
He looked over at the ledge of the platform, knowing that it lead down to a glass beach beside a river of lava.
And then he jumped, the noxious fumes filling his nose and his lungs as he landed next to the river of fire.
And a moment later, Obi-Wan landed behind him, his blade drawn.
And so, Anakin drew his as well, hoping that he didn’t accidentally get himself actually killed.
But it was hard to focus with the fumes filling his lungs and the sweltering, all consuming heat. His mind was racing, his movements distracted and Obi-Wan took the first opening that he could, knocking Anakin back so that he fell next to the river.
He could feel the heat beginning to burn his body, the gas beginning to burn his lungs.
But Anakin didn’t get up, he wasn’t even sure if he could, seeing as to how he could sense that he now had several broken ribs, and instead continued to lay there, even when Obi-Wan was shouting things at him from above.
He could hardly hear it over the sound of himself gasping for air.
Each breath burned and stung, but his surroundings faded in an out, growing dimmer and dimmer.
He heard a voice tell him that he loved him.
He let out a sob.
“We don’t have any other options.” Mace had told him again that night.
The air was cold on Coruscant, and still as if the planet were holding its breath.
(inspired by a conversation with @amez-santiago earlier haha.)
“Well, your baby is in perfect health,” the doctor says with a smile and both parents let out a sigh of relief as they share a loving look.
Jake can feel Amy holding his hand tighter as they quickly bring their gazes back on the screen, where they’re able to see their future child for the very first time. A new wave of emotion and love, so much love — for both the woman currently lying next to him and the tiny healthy human that’s growing inside of her — washes over him, and he can’t retain the tear that falls down his cheek when it hits him even harder than usual than they’re truly doing this; in just a few month’s time, they’re going to welcome a third member into their little family.
send me a ship and a prompt word and I’ll write a 3-sentence fic
