Why does VIXX LR feel like a “how gay can we get” series?

Cause like honestly, it feels like a “how gay can we get” series.

obviously in my canon victor henriksen is still alive. he survives the encounter with lilith at the police station, though barely, but dean calls in a few favors and with the assistance of people in the community (not hunters but.. hunter-adjacent people, people with knowledge of the supernatural who aid hunters) victor was nursed back to health. while he recovered he began learning about the supernatural, training to fight them, because, like most people who learn of the existence of supernatural beings, he couldn’t just live with the knowing and not do something about it. unlike the majority of hunters, however, he does not fall victim to that wide-reaching prejudice, and does not believe that creatures should die solely because they are inhuman. he believes only in killing those who are truly dangerous, who harm humans. in the early years there is some contention between dean and victor because of this, because dean has trouble breaking free of his beliefs, what is literally beat into him, but he never turns victor away because he cares for him. they’re romantically involved in the year between swan song and dean reuniting with (soulless) sam. in my canon, as i’ve said before, dean does not pursue a relationship with lisa/attempt to settle down with her. after losing sam, he loses it, and victor is one of the people who keeps dean from doing something incredibly stupid. their romantic relationship is brief, but they continue to remain friends because they mean a lot to each other.

victor is one of the few people post-purgatory who know dean is still alive, as mentioned in this post. victor and dean talk every night. victor is one of the few people who can get dean to admit when he’s in a bad place.
