actually the whole pen-holder thing plays for me. I now have an example of how stwriters write some letters outside of "episode x" and I could write them, pixelate and try to find similar letters on the grid

this post is making me think so hard about how, for both patty and allison, their relationship with their love interest is met with an obstacle that doesn't exist in their relationship to each other because that obstacle is seen and understood and forgiven.

sam wants allison to want bigger things, to be better than where she is now, but patty tells her that she can stay "broken." that it's fine to be the way she is now, that it is enough (and allison latches onto that VERY quickly because it's the only time she is told that.) because, truly, is patty doing much better herself?

tammy wants patty to be able to make a decision easily, because it's supposed to be easy (it... isn't, but that's another topic.) allison does not ask questions (asking patty questions would mean asking herself questions.) she doesn't have the words either, so why would she expect patty to?

it's just... very very interesting to me how it is hard and a bit broken for allison and patty and it means the world because they get each other.
