Rem looked at the two towers she could see from where she was standing in the desert. She didn't understand why they were glowing blue and red. Or why they were out in the desert in the first place. There was so much about this world that she didn't understand. Including why she was there. She knew that she wasn't anything special. Especially with the illness she had. So she had no idea what she was suppose to do when she didn't even know how long she had left to live.

Rem looked around in the strange area she had arrived in. She could have sworn that she had been heading to her class at Akedemia but now she had no idea where she was at. One name immediately came to her mind as she looked around. "Machina! Machina! Where are you?! Please answer me Machina!" She shouted in hopes of her childhood friend answering her. But all she was met by was silence. "Great. This is not a situation that I should be in."

After a few minutes, Rem finally took a few steps forward. She'd rather look around hoping to find someone than standing around and waiting to be found. Especially since she didn't know how dangerous this place was.
