Dean still couldn’t believe he was here, but he’d just bought a ticket for the first film in a Batman film festival that was happening near his condo. His online... someone was into Batman and Dean wanted to impress him. He thought he might seem cooler to the guy if he said he’d just watched twelve hours of Batman movies. He walked into the theater surrounded by cosplayers and fans just wearing t-shirts supporting the superhero. He bought himself a popcorn and a Cherry Coke and made his way into the cinema. Most people were still mingling in the concession area so he had his choice of seats. He chose one right in the middle and pulled out his phone. He frowned a little when he didn’t see a reply from his guy yet. He opened a game and tapped away as people started filing into the theater. Soon the place was packed and a guy took the empty seat right next to his. Dean looked up from his phone and smiled at the guy who was... stupidly hot. He cleared his throat a little and tried to think of some clever Batman introduction, but found himself a little nervous. “I wanna say thank you for not going full on Batman suit,” he greeted, “would’ve made the armrest battle a little scarier.” @txtalcalamity
