Benjiâs brain was going a million miles a minute. He wanted to say the right things and be cool but Dean was literally right there. Who gave him the right to just sit there being so goddamn cute? He shifted in his seat, watching as the lights dimmed. Play cool, thatâs all he had to do and then he could get out of there and keep up with whatever it was they had going. âWhat?â He panicked. Shit, he needed to be more careful with what came out of his mouth or this whole thing would be blown and Dean would never speak to him again and heâd have to go back to being the gay nerd in the back of the class who nobody even wanted to speak to because he was too enthusiastic about dumb shit. âI, uh, Iâm just, uh, like a sexuality whisperer? Itâs like a ghost whisperer but not spooky? Thatâs really dumb isnât it?â He stammered away, his cheeks flushing pink. The crowd started cheering as the first movie started and usually he would be there with them, but all he wanted to do was crawl under his seat to stop himself from screwing this up.
Dean thought that made sense. Some people just had a better intuition than others. âNo,â he shook his head with a small smile, âitâs not dumb.â He didnât have time to elaborate as the movie started. He sat back in his seat and tried to focus on the movie but his eyes kept going over to the stranger sitting next time. It wasnât just how cute he was, there was something else that was drawing Dean to him. He was starting to feel guilty though. His... whatever they were... while they werenât exclusive he thought, he didnât like the idea that he might be interested in someone else. He turned his full attention to the movie. It was pretty good and luckily he was sucked into it fairly easily. The first movie ended to thunderous applause and the lights slowly came on. He had thirty minutes before the next movie started and he couldnât decide if he wanted something to drink or not. âSo howâd you like it?â Dean asked, turning to look at the stranger with a friendly smile.
