She was two months late. Lily thought that it might be due to stress, given the anniversary of their daughter’s death having only just passed, but she wanted to take a pregnancy test just to be certain she was right. She didn’t feel pregnant - with their daughter, she had known the first month when she was late, it was because she was expecting. Lily also didn’t express her concerns to Elijah, because she didn’t want to put him through that emotional rollercoaster until she was certain.

“Babe?” She called out when she heard the front door shut; he must be back from his shift. “Elijah? I-I’m in the living room. Please can you come here?”

 ‧₊˚🖇️✩ Elijah had been waiting for this moment for so long, he couldn’t wait to see Nico that night after a month or two without going out with his boyfriend, he loved him lots — he couldn’t wait for Nico to get home to get ready so that they could go on their date. Elijah was just fresh out of the shower since he was really happy and trying to make sure he smelt good enough for his boyfriend. They were going to go on a yacht and have dinner , he loved how much his boyfriend did for him but sometimes he felt bad because he couldn’t do that much for his boyfriend — though he sometimes snuck some flowers over to be given to his boyfriend after he got off stage, done performing.. mean while he was at home doing OF to provide for him and his boyfriend. And help get more money for their shared bank account. Once Elijah heard Nico come home ; he quickly walked outside to see him in the house — a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair dripping wet. ❝ Welcome home babe!
