🎉 A happy song for my muse
Alone Together by fallout boy
This song makes her think of @jamesonxcassidy @jaceberg @finn-brooks and Evie when she was here 🥹
Where: The Den
When: Tuesday November 27th
Who: @finnthevixen
Noah hummed, kicking his feet as he sat on one of the stools in the kitchen, slowly munching his way through a bowl of oatmeal. He was feeling rejuvenated from the stillness of break, and was practically humming with energy that morning. One of their first practices back together after break was that day, and he was more than a little bit excited. He wanted to show off how much he had improved, even if he was the only one who noticed it.
He glanced up as someone started down the stairs, their footsteps soft, but still audible. They started to walk past the kitchen, a ball cap brim riding low over their face. Noah cocked his head to the side, for a moment thinking it was Patch, before he caught sight of one of Finn’s visible eyes and recognized him immediately. He perked up.
“Hey Finn! How are you this morning? Excited for practice?” he asked with a grin, dumping his bowl in the sink and trotting over to him. He slowed down as he got closer, furrowing his brows when he realized Finn was trying to keep his face turned away from him. It was a little concerning, and while Noah didn’t want to pry and annoy Finn, he couldn’t help but feel worried enough to risk testing Finn’s patience.
“Are you alright?” he asked hesitantly, still trying to catch Finn’s eye from underneath the hat he was sporting. From the stiff way he was holding his shoulders, it certainly didn’t seem like he was okay.
When: Sunday, November 18th
Where: The Den

Noah had had a tough time sleeping. That wasn’t unusual for him, but the dreams he had were more unsettling than usual. He was quiet as he left the dorm, hoping not to disturb Lucas as he left. The sun had not yet started to rise yet, so he made sure to be quiet as he slipped down the stairs. The cold air seemed to drill into his bones, and he shuddered as he prepared to bulldoze through the door to the Den, but paused, starting as he realized someone was already sitting there.
Noah could just barely make out Finn’s features in the dim light from one of the lamps, and Noah bit down on his lip. He wasn’t sure if he would be good company right now, fresh from a nightmare like he was. He wasn’t sure if he could force a grin right now. And he certainly didn’t want anyone asking him what was wrong or trying to tiptoe around him. Sometimes he did need Lucas’s cuddles, or the dorky banter Ripley provided, or Rosie’s own infectious energy, but right now he just wanted to… to be for a moment. Sometimes it was exhausting being so... so high energy like he was.
And yet, he didn’t want to be alone either, and out of anyone Noah knew, he felt like Finn would be the most likely to just let him be. Even though they had only really talked a spare few times, Noah was sure Finn wouldn’t try any of the mentioned tactics to bring his energy back up.
So, his mind made up, he knocked lightly on the door frame to alert Finn to his presence, before he walked in and hesitantly sat down on the other side of the couch, pulling his knees up to his chest. He shot Finn a tiny smile as he clasped his hands together in his lap.
“So… that game though,” Noah said, almost awkwardly, feeling slightly off footed from everything that had happened over the weekend. Not just his dreams, but also Casey’s injury, and Olivia’s turmoil… it was… a lot. It made him think about a lot of things he didn’t want to think about.
