okay so i finished listening to Gaslighter (the album) and ive gotta say. i loved it. you could really feel natalie's anguish about how awful her divorce was. i also really liked Young Man since she was singing it to her son who had to watch as his father was revealed to be such a horrible husband.
the only song i wasnt a fan of was Texas Man. in my opinion it just didnt really fit the vibe of the rest of the album, which was about catharsis and standing up for yourself and others. meanwhile texas man was about.... wanting a texas man. idk it just didnt fit it well.
