That man needed therapy (just like the rest of them). Does anyone else think that he didn’t really like Eden’s Gate? Like, maybe he thought Joseph was going too far? Because:

1) He admitted he didn’t even know if Joseph talks to God, so does he really believe? It feels more like he’s projecting his fears and insecurities of being weak and Joseph was giving him the tools to do it

2) Okay, I always laugh my ass off when I see him doing this, but the way he shakes his head behind Joseph, when the deputy's going to arrest them (please don’t ask me why I laugh at it, I really don’t know). But he just looks like he’s going “why are any of you doing this? This is fucking stupid.” He looks so exasperated, like he wants to drag Joseph back home or somethin LMAO
