I do fanfiction, so if you wanna request a little far cry 5 one shot, please feel free! (NSFW included!) I am working on an ongoing fc5 fic, and I am incredibly slow to update 😭 (took me like one year to update and that happened more than once - requests sometimes give me my inspiration)

I actually recommend everyone write for a rarepair once because it completely changes your relationship with fandom. Engagement stops being numbers and starts being names. You know who's going to show up. You recognize usernames. Someone disappears for a while and then comes back and you're like “OH MY GOD WELCOME HOME.” It's incredibly wholesome. It is also deeply inconvenient when all six of you simultaneously get writer's block-

ive experienced almost all sides of the coin here 😭 i used to write for a popular shadowhunters ship on wattpad and although it wasnt massively popular, it still did super well compared to what i get on ao3 now

because now i write for a smaller fandom (far cry 5) and an even smaller category (gay deputy usually with the seed brothers or staci, but obviously not a rarepair in the fandom)

and i have one gay fic for manifest, an even tinier fandom with a rarepair ship (ben stone x eagan tehrani)

its interesting to see the dynamics 😭
