[DO NOT RB] Marluxia’s feelings towards Organization XIII tend to be complex especially concerning older members. This is a reference for the Original members to stir ideas and potential interactions. Use this as much as you want, or don’t. Keep in mind this is a DEFAULT feeling Mar has and can change over time per person.
Marluxia hates Xemnas with his entire being. He will often call him out or provide his opinion on the matter of hearts and how to go about making Kingdom Hearts during meetings or otherwise. It is not to the point where it’s obvious that he’s planning a coup, but obvious enough that Marluxia just does not like this guy. There are times where he can spur into a nice discussion with Xemnas concerning matters of philosophy. But as a rule of thumb, he will always test his waters to see how far Xemnas is willing to put up with him. There is a reason why Marluxia’s chair is so high up.
However, on the flip side, there is a reason why Marluxia was given Castle Oblivion and precious research that would forward the Organization’s goals. It seems a mystery as to why that is... for now.
The feelings Marluxia has for Xigbar is extremely complicated. On one hand Xigbar was the reason that he was brought into the Organization and was given a purpose, but on the other hand he found him and brought him into the Organization. There’s resentment for him, but there’s also curiosity. For what he wonders...
There is a sense of respect towards Xaldin and interest for his fascination of the heart. It is different than what the Organization strives for, in a sense, and he can appreciate Xaldin’s merciless actions. But he does believe that Xaldin has a stick up his own ass and will make quips of matters of love to him. Not to fight, but to try and stir something in him. He just wants to understand why he hates love.
Has no idea what to think of Vexen. On one hand, he finds that Vexen’s idea of respect for elder members to be annoying. He does not treat Vexen as Number 4 but as an equal (when it suits him) which leads to head butting as one can imagine. On the other hand there is curiosity for the research that Vexen does and genuine wonder for the inner workings of Vexen’s mind. Though his pride won’t let him, he does wonder what things that Vexen can teach him in regards to science. Perhaps.. to make what was once lost..... A shame that his attitude is so awful.
WELL SINCE LEX HAS NOTHIN FOR HIM THIS IS REALLY UP FOR GRABS I’M SORRY YA’LL!
There is both pity and respect towards Zexion. Both for being so young within the Organization and because he is a scientist like Vexen. Thankfully he is much easier to talk to so Marluxia will sometimes discuss matters of science and even deeper ideas. There is much to learn from a young mind, and he is willing to listen. And if Vexen doesn’t help, he suppose that Zexion would for something he yearns for....
In the truest sense of the word, he thinks Saix is a dog. Part of him hates Saix for going along with everything, acting as if this whole organization is some office, and another part of him pities the other for being so caught up in the moon. Saix isn’t his problem, and he doesn’t care what he does to himself when succumbing to bloodthirsty desires, but he does wonder... if he could convert to a new religion.
In some ways Marluxia admires the other for doing the dirty work no one wants to do. He thinks the other has guts and a possible member to bring into his coup. But there is frustration in what Axel does, the other’s own silver tongue leading to mixed feelings and confusion. Regardless, Marluxia won’t hesitate to call out his actions should Axel choose to preach to him.
Aside from how lazy Demyx can be, he finds comfort in the other. The sitar the other strums is a welcomed melody in the wake of the silent halls of the castle. He does not mind it, at least until he’s playing when he’s trying to sleep. But there is something else about Demyx, something about the other’s self proclaimed ‘heart’. There is morbid interest as to why he joined the Organization, and why he was recruited. To ask is something that he has thought a lot about.
An interesting man with far more interesting morals. To gamble fate and leave his life to lady luck is an admirable idea of the world. Marluxia enjoys Luxord’s poker nights, likewise his company, and finds comfort in the little interactions. He wonders if Luxord would ever join his side and take the gamble.
There are a lot of emotions when it concerns Larxene. Many of which he cannot put his finger on due to how vague and unknown they all are. On one hand there is wonder for her and how the void in him calls out to a memory, but on the other hand he finds her interesting to say the least. He follows her as she follows him, but there is a yearning in him to discover more about her-- and himself.
Marluxia sees Roxas as a fond friend, even if he has no reason to. He wishes to show Roxas the true Organization, to teach him things that seem so far and distant in his memory. It is a wonder why he feels the need to care for someone that was not ordered to be under his care. Perhaps there is a connection somewhere.
He does not see Xion as herself, but rather as a younger Ventus as he appeared as a Union Leader. In a similar way to Roxas, Marluxia does not understand why he feels attached to her or why he wants to protect her. He believes that it has to do with something in the past, a connection that is trying to spark. It is only a shame that he did not know her for longer.
