Like I promised here's my genius story idea

ground stuff:

Magic in this story is real. Modern setting but with magical creatures and other weird stuff roaming around.

-There is a nonbinary Starlike being that crashes near our Protagonist house

-Their species name can be translated to "Starborn Child" in english

-How they crashed is depending on you but here are some ideas

+They were too curious and got to close to earth

+Someone pushed them

-Protag is a adventurous type and they they can be any gender u want) investigates the crash site

- After searching around for a little bit they discoveres our Starborn and both make eye contact

- They both get scared

-The Star Child because they think "OH SHIT WHERE AM I? WHAT IS THAT? OH FUCK A HUMAN?! "

- And our human gets scared cause... Stranger danger and in a magical modern world stranger danger can lead to death

-After a hot moment our protagonist gets confident and confronts the Starborn. They introduce eachother and begin to talk

- After discovering that they came from the stars our Starchild gets homesick

-Our trusty Protag is then like "U know what? I help you! Cause I looove adventures and ur kinda hot" "What? " "What"

-What happens next is really your decision but here are some important plot points

+This is a romance story which means..... They fall in love with each other

+There are Hunters and mages that try to hunt down the Starborn. Because in this world Starborns have strong magical blood and make good magical slaves.

+ A close moment where they both get nearly caught

+They discover through a witch that there's a special mountan where you "can touch the stars" *huge source of star magic*

+ After arriving at the mountan a Hunter manages to mortally wound the Protagonist

+ Finally there our Protag collapses due the wounds on them and during their adventure they both fell in love.

+Sad becauss their love will eventually die our Starborn turns the Protagonist with a kiss (YEA I KNOW THAT THIS IS CHEESY) into a constellation so that they both will be able to see each other in the sky...

+If the kiss thing is too cheesy for your liking, you could turn it into the Starchild begging to their parent to do something
