A single knock on the door resonated through Klug's ears as he assumed his position before the front door to Sig's abode, waiting as patiently as he could in his silently frantic state for someone to answer the door. While excited to see his friend outside school hours––something that didn't occur often––his mind was a rush, and he worried whether he would be socially competent enough... The stellar student anxiously held up his spellbook over his face as he waited for the bug catcher to appear.
“……~~?”
The face that greeted him at the door was not Sig’s, but another curious presence. She was just a bit surprised by his unannounced visit, but once she recognized the person on her doorstep, her expression changed into a friendly, welcoming smile.
“♪~~~!”
She rushed upstairs to announce his arrival. Not long afterward, a certain blue-haired boy stumbled sleepily down the stairs, hair and clothing slightly disheveled. When he reached the front door and saw their surprise guest, he seemed to wake up a little bit more.
“Oh. Hi, Glasses… This is kinda unexpected. What’s up? And, uh... what’s with the book...?”
