"......"
Sig continued looking off to the side, flinching slightly at the volume of Klug's voice. His classmate's anger was practically palpable, and he knew it was his fault. But still... he didn't understand why Klug was this angry. Everything had turned all right, hadn't it? He didn't have to get his arm ampi-tated or whatever... so what was the point of being angry now?
For the time being... the best way to help Klug calm down would probably be to just answer his questions. And so Sig answered them.
"On my way to school this morning... I climbed a tree cause I saw a big beetle up there. But the branch wasn't strong enough to hold me, so I fell... and I hit my arm on another branch and scraped it."
It certainly wasn't the first time he'd fallen from a tree, so he really didn't think anything of it. He still didn't understand what the big deal was...
"It hurt a little at first, but then it stopped... I saw the blood, but I didn't think it looked that bad... my jacket was enough to soak it up, I thought, so I figured I'd just go to the nurse's office after school... that's it. I didn't think it was super serious..."
