👋 Bel après-midi
We are made of the stories we carry within us.. Those that wound us, those that enlighten us..

The places scattered around the place where we live are sometimes more important than it, even if we never see them; they form a kind of geography of the imagination that overflows sight, re-creating new spaces, altering perceptions, reshaping landscapes. It is they that make my domain familiar to me to the point of tears, with its infinite perspectives. Thus, knowing that the monuments of my city are constantly gathered around me embellishes my inner dwelling. These places that radiate into my heart, their imprint readable there like a gentle marker.

Day six, let's go!
Oh, boy. Here we go.
A trivia question but no prompt question? Hun, I didn't know they could do that.
Oh, wait, those unfold one more time, I just don't usually bother showing those, but let's be thorough today.
There it is. I knew it.
Here's the thing: I wish I had a better answer to this question. I wish I could name an independent bookstore with a strong thematic decor and nooks and crannies to explore and so on. But that would necessitate me enjoying getting out of my house and shopping in stores in person, and I don't. My actual favorite shop is the Kobo store, where I buy my ebooks.
The last time I bought physical books inside a store was at a place called Imaginaire in my local mall. It's more of a geeky store (a retailer of collectible and pop-culture merchandise, according to the press release about the opening I found online) but they do have a "bookstore" tab on their website, and they do sell comic books and manga. Here's a picture of the manga section I took when I went there in June.
They have Wind Breaker! In the seinen section, but shhh! Mislabeling encourages exploration inside the store. And look! Thematic decor. This isn't exactly an independent bookstore (it's inside a mall, there's a chain of them) but it's closer to one than Kobo, at least.
