ok so one of my areas of special interest is early-mid 2000s j-rock and I recently was sucked back into it so this page is going to be my repository as I unlock ancient memories in my cavernous millennial weeb brain.

The truly fun part is that I basically abandoned this interest for ~10 years, so I have much to rediscover. And there's so much warm fuzzy nostalgia waiting for me as well.

I have still been listening to Japanese music, but definitely of a different genre. So let's dive back into it. Let's see what these hebii kids been up to.

I don't even remember all of my favorite bands, so I'll start there. Right now, I'm frothing at the mouth for X Japan (THERE'S NEW X JAPAN MUSIC????? JADE IS FUCKING RAD) and gladly diving back in to Dir en Grey. So stoked.
