Kaidan couldn’t help the look of shock that took over his features at Ze’ev’s statement, mouth agape as he lost his train of thought. Well, the drell was at the very least straight forward- he could respect that. He cleared his throat before chuckling. When exactly had he started sounding like an old man?
There was a look in their eyes as they shifted their gaze to meet his own; a look that told Kaidan they already had a full catalog of life experiences. It was quickly shrugged off.
“It’s ok I believe you, really. Is this... Something you like doing? I just mean...” He frowned, trying to find the right words. “Well... Uh, being here?”
